Peggy, all I've read is people saying either they were interested in seeing Buck in movies, or that they weren't. I don't see where
anyone at all has made an attack on who Buck is as a person. In fact, from what I've seen, people who've said they weren't interested in seeing Buck's film work (or expressed the opinion that he was "disgusting") have been attacked by people who've rallied to Buck's side because he's a member of the TG community, which has nothing to do with whether or not you, I or anyone else find him sexually appealing. It's apples and oranges really, and I respectfully think that in this case, with you being an activist, you have instinctively jumped to Buck's defense when all that people were saying is that they don't
personally find him attractive as a porn star, which there simply is no defense against what with us all being individuals and accordingly having individual tastes. If anyone espoused violence against Buck, that'd be another issue. But to say "Buck Angel isn't my cup of tea..." or "I can't see what anyone would find attractive about Buck Angel pornos"... There's no assault on the TG community, or who Buck is as a person in that.
