What wars has Canada won (other than that one?)... well lets see... Canada was full on in WW1 for four full years before the US finally came in for the last year and a bit. Thanks for coming out in that one. WW2, again Canada was on the battlefields in early 1940 when it took the US another three years or so to get troops on the ground. WTF, can you people ever back up your allies and get your asses in gear?
The USA has the bloodiest history of any nation on the globe over the past 250 years. I'm thinking that the theme here isn't who you fight but rather YOU, USA. You go picking fights you think you can win and are late to the party when your friends ask for help.
Canada on the other hand is a peace-loving nation. Were the US foreign policy is a cannon and a sabre, Canada's foreign policy is diplomacy and relationship building. If you dig into any of Canada's war history, you'll find our soldiers are among the best trained and most feared in the world. They are hard-ass warriors and be thankful we're on your side when the shit hits the fan. You'd hate to be on the pointed side of a Canadian battalion.
We are also the ONLY nation in the history of the United Nations to have sent troops to EVERY SINGLE UN mission ever created. We are peace keepers not war mongers.
If you two dunces did a bit of digging beyond what Fox News tells you to think you might have a more urbane view of the world. Really... do some reading before you spout such ignorance.
Your Mark Twain said it's better that people think you're a fool than to open your mouth and prove them right... words to live by, friends. ;)
Canada didn't exist as a country in 1812.Quote:

The goal of the UN isn't to promote peace per say, but rather to perpetuate the status quo. In other words, its a mechanism that exists solely to help those with global dominance, keep that dominance.Quote:

You're wrong on the UN: From Wiki:
The United Nations (UN) is an international organization whose stated aims are to facilitate cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress, human rights, and achieving world peace.

Legallylarge, you might as well forget it about it. Some people just can't be educated.
When it came to formalized boarders, boarders reverted to pre-war locations. Informa boarders were formalized... AND the British conceded the prohibition of impressment, and fishing rights to the Americans. That sounds like the actions of a country that won a few of the battles while loosing the war to me...Quote:

I think that you watch too much propaganda written by people from Hollywood - like John (Marion - such a FEMALE name) Wayne who was so S*** scared that he stated at home.Quote:

As for Korea - the US got their arses well kicked and had to sue for a cease-fire otherwise they would have been wiped out - as in Vietnam and Somalia and grenada and all the other places. Iraq and Afghanistan will be next.
Tepres, check the longest (farthest) recorded sniper kill - in Afghanistan, by a Canadian.
The longest range recorded for a sniper kill currently stands at 2,430 meters (2,657 yd, or 1.51 miles), accomplished by Master Corporal Rob Furlong, a sniper from Newfoundland, Canada, in March 2002 during the war in Afghanistan. Furlong made this record-breaking kill while he was participating in Operation Anaconda. He was a member of the 3rd Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI). To make the kill, he used a .50 caliber BMG (12.7 mm) McMillan TAC-50 bolt-action rifle.[
We may not have a multi-trillion dollar military budget, but we have respect worldwide for our skills as soldiers. Something lacking in the US's history.
