Cook County IL is Chicago and the surrounding areas. People that Obama is close friends with and endorses, run cook county. I don't mean to be a downer, jus saying he hasn't done anything for IL so I couldn't bring myself to vote for him.

I voted against Bush every time and both times he slithered in like a snake from Hell, I was convinced he would run this country into the ground like every other endeavor he had comically undertaken in his life. Well, challenging times call for those that can meet those challenges. At last we have someone in the White House who is in for the content of his charcter, the righteousness of his spirit and the wonder of his vision.
