Financial security is a man I guess with who make as much money or more than me. In this case it's equal.

If i get in a relationship where e I make more money, I will take it upon myself to call the shots, not him. since I make most of the final and important decisions, and not all men like that, however i think it's fair if I run the place.

I live within my means, however I do have my materialistic ways that I can afford myself, I don't expect a man to support that, but if it's my money think he should be quiet. lol

I think relationships work the best where the couple worked together and come to agreements on things. If one person is calling the shots in the relationship... it doesn't end well.

But if that's what you want, good luck in your search.

I'm not sure why people think these dynamics only apply to transsexual escorts. There are plenty of people who resented Anna Nicole Smith. But if she and her husband had a mutually satisfying relationship, it's no one's business. And that's just one one type of relationship. There are all kinds. There were mail order brides too.

In fact, many times the woman's parents are just as concerned or even more so, that their daughter's fiance will be a good provider. And so what? It's only natural that people want their daughters to have a decent life. Right? Who'd want to marry beneath them? Whose parents would want their kids to marry beneath them? By the same token, some guys bust their asses to get to where they're at. They deserve a trophy wife if that's what they want.

Everyone brings something to the table in a relationship, and often people don't understand why it worked. There's nothing new about that.

Omg I cannot say it any better!!!!! Any real man would want to provide for the partner IF financially abel to, I can understand if one can't due to finances and there are many circumstances that are reasonably understandable..

But who are we to judge? I'm not even saying it was true love. I doubt it was. It's just a good example of two people who probably both knew exactly what the nature of their relationship was.

Let's not forget, there have been countless arranged marriages, shotgun weddings, unplanned pregnancies used as guilt trips to pressure men into marrying, etc which have actually led to successful marriages. In comparision, what's wrong with two adults intentionally marrying purely for looks or money?
