That's crazy. She - or I guess it's he now - was a former Miss Transsexual Brazil and has been a woman for over a decade - basically their entire adult life. It's becoming almost a detransition epidemic lately.

What an odd thread.

I've known a couple of people that detransitioned and I've known of at least a couple more (Possibly named in this thread, but I stopped reading early on). Two of my lovers (One male, one female) transitioned after we disconnected. I was quite surprised by both.

I chat with Charnell Dupree from time to time and wonder where they are on the trans spectrum as they've been on a bit of a pendulum of late.

I see it as discovering their identity. Being the person they are most comfortable being. I don't ogle or pry or fetishize their journey, I just appreciate them for who they are and wish them the best life.

And please stop using the word 'shemale' for fuckssake (Unless it is in the 1940's context of a 'strong woman'). I've never liked that word and it burns my brain when I see/hear it.

I do wonder if detranstion rates might be higher among trans sex workers and models than the general trans population, but I doubt anyone has isolated for trends that specific.

Also remember that demographic wise, (as you eluded to earlier) most transgender individuals are not in hard-core pornography...
