Umm... yeah... this IS THE REAL WORLD. People ask for 'help' all the time. It is a multi-billion dollar industry. You can donate to just about anything you want. Life is made up of a series of victories and challenges. Sometimes during the challenges, you ask for help to get through them. That is all I see going on here, and until someone proves it differently (i.e. - there is in fact, FRAUD going on here), then isn't it the more compassionate and human thing to do... give the benefit of the doubt and just say, 'Glad you're OK, hope everything works out?' Is that SO bad?

Nobody died. And if they did I still wouldn't help with the rent!

Wish my rent was 550.00....the timing of this was terrible with regard to soliciting funds on-line...the thread with Sarina Valentina soliciting funds on multiple sites kind of opened up a can of worms with regard to people's questioning the validity of such requests. With the economy being what it is, money is tight, but at least you haven't posted a goal of $12,000 like someone else...
