As a Russian citizen myself I can say that part of the reason shemales aren't as popular in Russia is because of the discriminatory nature of the Russian populace. Russians themselves like to hate on people of other ethnic groups, homosexuals, and of course tgirls. Have fun being a visible minority or gay in Russia. You pretty much have to walk around with a gun. Of course transitioning to a tgirl is even harder.
