I don't have any problem with you, Quinn, but your friend has consistently shown it to be beyond his abilities to communicate like an adult any time I've seen someone express an opposing viewpoint. I realized this limitation, and yet asked him a question, and the same bullshit he's spewing now is the bullshit he spewed then in response... he never did answer my question.

Ever wonder why every post he makes that isn't to support his political ideology is to belittle someone else for having the audacity not to ally themselves with him? And the sad thing is, I've read some of what he's had to say on politics and agree with much of it... However, I can't be bothered to get into a conversation with a man who can use words like "supercilious" with ease, yet can't fashion a rational counter-argument and present it without resorting to childish name-calling, as I've said.

I'm sure your friendship didn't happen by some accident, and I know of several people who hold Chefmike in some regard. In several cases, to be honest, this appears to be due to a similarity in political views only, but certainly that isn't the reason in each case, and it isn't really relevant to what I'm trying to say anyway. And what that is is, I could have just said that I chose my words poorly and slinked off, but I didn't say that, as it would have been a cop out. I said what I meant, and I said it because I find it unbelievable that those people who consider Chefmike to be a friend would sit back and ignore, if not outright co-sign his assinine responses to well-meaning people who express a differing opinion.

Not two days ago, LG and I had a discussion which concluded by me expressing gratitude that we could both express ourselves without the whole thing descending into idiocy. He expressed that he was grateful for that as well. And so, if he can recognize and appreciate that we, as adults, were able to behave as adults and dialogue, surely he can see that this isn't possible where his friend Chefmike is involved, and surely you can too. And that's all there is to it really.

TJ, I can't speak to the origin of your differences with Chef as I'm not familiar with their inception. Let me say this though: your attempts to involve others in your dispute is a mistake because your analysis of the ongoing dynamic involved is incorrect. Keep in mind, I don't mean that as a criticism, but as a casual observation.
