Its not because of the Harry benjamin standards of care. I think they are nonsense too... but my view on transgendered woman differs from most.

I have met a lot of Tgirls/woman, and many of them were not very feminine. Mind you, I am not talking about their looks, anyone can get FFS and fool the world into believing they are woman. I am talking about the inside.

Try any transgenderfora and you will usually not find girls talking about girl stuff. Transgendered woman rarely talk about what it is like for them to be a woman.

In the west almost 80% were straight guys with a wife, jobs, children, etc so they become lesbians... those usually insist upon having a vagina and the one;s that do not go for surgery they view as males.

I was actually kicked from several websites run by these kind of TSwoman, because I expressed my doubt about having surgery.

Well this kind of stuff happens in other walks of life. I imagine some republicans in America shudder each time they see some of the republican nut jobs on TV (Ann Coulther and such). One of my best friends is a priest and started his own church out here in Thailand. And he gets a little annoyed about how the nuttiest Christians end up on TV and give all of them a bad name (naturally he forgives them and moves on). I could go on and on.

You got to be thick skinned. I think I only have an idea what a TS has to go through on a daily basis but I don't think it's productive to judge others by your own criteria. Even the straight heterosexual lesbian T women. I just hope that people will see TS having positive relationships with others in the media.
