I know that you do. In fact, most white people have no idea that shit goes down. They just assume black people are always angry about shit that happened 40 years ago.
I don't fault you for that shit afterall, if there were no white people who weren't racist, we would've never been freed, and never passed the civil rights bill. i wish i could do something to help but i do kinda know alittle something about being treated lower as a person my colour may be white but i bring a different kind of shame to some people but i chose to look away and walk proud.i guess were alittle alike i suppose you guys have your demonds and i have my own even when daryl makes fun of my face i choose to ignore it instead of laying the law down i doubt we will be able to please everyone but we have to start somewhere.

EVERYONE goes through this type of abuse, because in this country EVERYONE is a minority, yes even white people... And as for the situation you described, although I feel for you, I have to remind you how minor it is in comparison to the current plight of the LGBT community. In 2007 I was jumped by 8 guys on a crowded NYC street just for being a "faggot". People just casually walked by, took photos with their camera phones smirking, while grown men stomped my face against the pavement, because it has become socially acceptable to hurt the homo.
I'm not saying things are 100% better for you, but YES things ARE getting better for black community. Fortunately we don't live in a world where it is common practice to abuse people because of the color of their skin. Your ancestors paved the way for you to be treated how you deserve, as an equal. Let's not belittle that.

You are the first person I know that has been told they are articulate on a regular basis that is not black. My white friends always look puzzled when I tell them that, and they always ask" They said that", shortly there after.

Most white people I know aren't articulate. I looks to me like most people are simply offering you a humble compliment.
For example, compare YOUR grammar to the grammar of the white posters on this site. Even against theirs, your grammar is excellent. So if someone reading these threads complimented you on your grammar, it isn't because they are offering you a back-handed compliment, it's simply because they honestly mean it :)

In all actuality I am just playing devil's advocate. I could care less about someone's sexual preferences. At the end of the day, I just do me. I am not worried about what percentage of girls does what. All I care about is what the ONE girl that is about me is doing, whoever that person may be.

I'm sorry to hear what happened to you but the rest of your comments are way off base. Unfortunately we do live in a world where people are treated differently and abused because of the color of their skin. And as much as I sympathize and empathize with the LGBT community, there is NO comparison to the plight and years of direct abuse black people have faced and been through. The acts and modern ideologies of racism and bigotry have changed slightly (in some cases and states) to a less direct and subtle way. However, the overall historic mentality of white superiority and privilege is practiced and imposed upon black people in almost every aspect of society.
