Affleck has the height. Plus he'll bulk up. He should be fine.

I think Ed hardy could do well if he changed his look a little. Even though he just did Bane.
He looked good as the Daredevil....
And Jennifer Garner looked OK as Elektra... ha, ha! :)
I probably would have cast an unknown for the part, myself, but, yeah... I won't judge until I see Affleck on-screen. With that said, Keaton got the same backlash for the role in Burton's Batman, though, to be fair, it was right after starring as Beetlejuice. Anyways, more recently, Heath Ledger got some pretty heavy backlash for The Joker role prior to its release. So, it's no big deal to me. I'm more worried about Zack Snyder, to be honest. Man of Steel fell flat for me. Superman II: The Donner Cut still remains my fav. And for what it's worth, I personally didn't think Daredevil was all that terrible, but I digress..
