Do you guys like Prospero as a Moderator???

Daryl said I was his favorite White person the other day. Racist statement but also a compliment and I took it that way. I think he's still active here.

I will respond to OMK's post with regard to one point. Yes i did call for you to be banned - though I don't recall the details. It probably was about racism. (and it was way before i was given the privilege of being a moderator)

What i did object to stringently - and put out in public at the time - was your wholly false and libellous claim that i was 'a known anti semite." A claim made totally without foundation and which you totally refused to withdraw or apologise for. It was and remains a lie. It was, sadly, typical of your approach to the truth.

But since then i have become a mod...and your lie is still here should anyone care to read it. I do NOT remove things like this - a personal attack on me by someone whose extreme right wing credentials are very well known.

As for being left of Bernie sanders. No idea who he is. (I do now - just googled him. A perfectly good and honourable man from Vermont)

But I am curious how OMK believes he can label me a radical left winger. I argue on my political postings for moderation in the face of the most right-wing GOP the US has ever seen. I do not advocate anything which a sane view of politics could be construed as being "far left." But then of course some of the Righ Wingers have taken to calling Obama a communist. So... well there i rest my case on this.

And as for the political forum - I have never censored, altered or removed any remarks there by anyone including you (who I dislike more for your slapdash handling of truth and lies and crude propagandising than your politics). That part of this site is an open house for crazy and poisonous thought - like yours. I believe wholeheartedly in free speech.

I have no opinion.... but there was a time here when almost none of us knew who the mods were. I think Flabby was one, but the fact we didn't know is a good thing. I thought debates needed moderators, not porn sites, but I could be wrong.

With the amount of debating on here, hell yes we need moderators!I think Prospero is an excellent choice. As for his having an inherent bias, find me a human who does not have one. Personally I think Prospero does a much better job than most of us, including you and me, of keeping it to himself.

And what does the fact that this is a porn board have anything to do with the need for moderation. Is it your opinion that people who work in the pornography industry and those of us who view them are less deserving of respect than the rest of society? SMH

You've only been here since 2008, so I don't know how you remember "there was a time when almost none of us knew who the mods were". JWBL, NYCe, HollywoodBuckstrap and more were known as mods and active participants in the forum.

Glad to hear it. Prospero is a great choice. I was just thinking he or Dino should be the HA member judge for the Tranny Awards. Is being a mod a conflict of interests?
