A lot of small business owners in the U.S. dislike regulation. They simply find it annoying.
And Republicans champion the small business owner. They've cornered that market, so to speak.
Ya know, Republicans are looking out for the small business owner. A lot of Tea Party people are small business owners. They've hardware stores or restaurants. And, again, find, say, health inspectors a nuisance, as bothersome.
Now the Republican Party have successfully catered to them by saying: we want less regulation to serve the interests of small business owners. Lisa, there are reasons why people vote Republican. Plus the choices are profoundly limited. Well, look at Congress: they've a 9 percent approval rating. So, who are you supposed to vote for, eh? And, too, both so-called political parties are funded by the same corporate interests.
A lot of conservatives in the States have been fed, well, a steady diet of: there are two classes in the U.S. Not the super-rich and everyone else. But the ordinary/average American and the snobbish intellectual liberal elite. Obama is seen -- and made to be seen -- as representing the snobbish intellectual liberal elite. So, people are thinking, why would I vote for someone like him?
The overwhelming problem in American politics (I don't know if Canada has this problem) is the corporate money that imbues or fills the coffers of both parties. Corporations run our government. Hence we had the Tea Party movement. With people having legitimate grievances over the tight and cozy relationship between big government and big business. And the same with the Occupy movement. Ya know, Americans want THEIR government back!
You know something I get a headache from reading both sides of this. Here is the truth. Both parties made this mess. If you don't think so, you are delusional. Our last two presidents put this country trillions of dollars in debt. One republican, one democratic.

And you tranny fuckers who are Republican should be ashamed of yourselves!
To support a party that see us as abominations etc....
DISGUSTING
Actually it is the Republicans who tax and spend. Under Bush and Regan taxes went down for the richest 1% and up for the rest of us. The Republicans and Bush and Regan had the largest increase in spending of any presidents to date, even more than Obama. Do some research on Bush and you will see that he is the worse tax and spend president of all time.
