I never said porn wasn't visual. The issue is there isn't an ongoing discussion in the 500 page picture threads. I am looking at the first page of General Discussion and I only see three or four threads that are actual discussions. The rest are picture threads. Yes, it is extremely troublesome. Which is why all forums separate their content into different sections. I just don't agree that picture threads and discussion threads fall under the same category. I also feel that the discussions would be easier to find if I didn't have to sort through numerous picture threads to find one discussion thread. Another bonus of this is to aid in the recurring themes on this board about Bailey Jay's cock size and if someone is homosexual. Breaking it into two sections would potentially cut down on repeat threads if some of those threads could be found in the first two pages of General Discussion.

I don't agree with you. This discussion is about why has discussion died, many don't agree that it is dead. Many also don't have a problem with the way the board is laid out now.

Well, I'm a newbie and I see TheRatKing is one, too. I was the one who bumped this topic a week ago. Prior to that it had languished for a week. I think it was on page 5 or so when I found it. Discussion topics do tend to get pushed down here.

Hey you with your 13 posts, do you usually go to someone's home and start advising them on their decor on your very first visit? This forum has been around more years than posts you have made so pipe down and do something meaningful to contribute rather than offer critique.

Maybe it was on page 5 because the topic had been discussed enough? I know just about everything I have said to Rat, I had already said earlier.
Bottom line is discussion has not died, it has slowed down compared to some days in the past for various reasons. The board works just fine, if you two hang a little bit longer, you will get used to it, it really is not that difficult.

Well, to borrow from the late great Tony Hancock fim, The Rebel, jojo's work belongs firmly to the "infantile school"...
Sadly though, his best work is long behind him and he's becoming increasingly repetitive in his efforts to revive past glories. Particularly apparent is the overuse of the words meat or meaty, though he does occassionally misspell them in a vain attempt to inject more variety. What does remain remarkable throughout though, is his focus on the (large) erect form of the penis as inspiration for his work, to the exclusion of all else. Indeed, many would argue that it's this dedication to a single object and as a result his apparent lack of awareness of anything else going on around him that has led to his decline and will utimately see his demise.

It is on page 5 because there are 50 picture threads taking up room in the General Discussion forum. Who claimed it was difficult? Tedious and difficult are two different concepts. It isn't difficult reading through a few pages, but it is tedious. Works just fine? You might be satisfied with fine, but I'm not.

What topics do you want to see discussed on the main board? Remember, politics and religion, escorts, sports, have their own sections, so anything connected with those topics is usually moved off the main board, if not posted in them in the first place.
Inevitably, all discussion threads sink eventually, but if interesting enough then some will float near the top of the board for a while. Start a thread and see what happens...:D

I'm interested in reading the thoughts of the women who star in scenes I enjoy. The same way people are interested in the thoughts of celebrities I wish it was easier to see the ongoing discussions with some of the talent. Which is why I feel the "Ask ChristianXXX anything" thread is such a brilliant idea. Imagine if the first page was filled with similar threads for the active stars on this forum. Clearly I can't make a thread for these people, but I would love to join in on one started by one of the stars. For me getting to know some of these actors/actresses makes the content that much more appealing. The same way reading about celebrities and watching their movies makes them more enjoyable and why it is such big business in Hollywood.
So for me that is one of the main things I wouldn't mind seeing more of on the main page of General Discussion. I just read through the first 20 pages of General Discussion and 90% of it are picture threads. There are some discussions I thought about commenting on but resurrecting threads from a month ago is frowned upon in a lot of places. I'm not familiar with the etiquette here and seeing as how someone tried to comment on my post count gave me the feeling that unless you fall in line with the status quo you'll most likely be driven out. Which is a shame because this forum is one of the only havens for individuals who enjoy TGirls.

While I don't see the need to break the forum into separate sections, I do think it would be a good idea to merge the multiple threads about Bailey Jay's cock, pondering whether or not someone is gay, or complaining about escorts that won't see black clients into one thread covering each topic and then sticky them. This way people interested in talking about those topics for the 1,000th time will know where to find them.
BTW, threads from several years ago have been known to be bumped. So you are not going to run into a problem if you want to resurrect one from a month ago.

People resurrect posts that are years old sometimes, go for it.
To me, the main discussion board is the only board I go to because it has both discussions and picture threads that sometimes start discussions or vice versa. There is no need to fix something that isn't broken.
As for the stars coming around here, they pop in from time to time, hang out more, you'll find what you are looking for sooner or later.

For now, here's a little advice for you: you want a thread aimed at a particular girl similar to the one about Christian then just start it. If you don't like the format of the board go make your own board. If you expect things to change on a free site to be better for you, I hope you have some plan to enrich Steven and Grooby that makes it worth their time to modify a 14+ year old forum which just happens to be one of, if not the most, successful forum of it's kind on the web.
