I don't think Birgitta meant any offense. Certainly nowadays not everyone accepts the Harry Benjamin Scale, but she probably puts some credence to it, and I think she must have been referring to Type 6, "True Transsexuals", who intensely hate their male genitalia. That would explain her use of the "true" adjective and her aversion to using her male genitalia... pretty mundane really and I don't think it requires a flame war. I used to buy into the Benjamin scale until I read how unsure of it Benjamin himself was.
