I know I'm a late arrival here, but I guess the answer is the same as to how many visitors here have been on the net since the '90s. All those who came later never really put their foot forward, all think the Internet is just a consumption tool. Call me old, heck I am, but I'm sure the answer lies in there. I modded, participated, even admind, but selflessly doing something give little reward, and even less respect.

Having said that, I really loathe the 150 character, 30 second message, blip style communication that is used nowadays. Has anybody really ever read anything worthwhile in those, that also could stand a 2 minute reflection test? All it says is "buy, buy, bye"

Nah, I've definitely seen them, but I never cared to make a log for pop quizzes. Since users are capable of reading topics made before they created an account, my join date is pretty irrelevant. And since people who quote moderated users don't get deleted, you can see they didn't make posts that fit the criteria you listed here. Not really important to me one way or the other though, so no need to get defensive about it.
