Big deal is all really rather relative. Tyga is only a big deal to people who care about who he is or what he does; I hadn't heard of him until this thread started and he is certainly still not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. I'm also aware that the Kardashians exist but considering they are all pretty much famous for being famous they are also not a big deal to me or many other people. No doubt they have lots of fans here in the UK but the average person in the street would probably know nothing beyond saying 'Kardashian... is that the girl with the large arse?'
As with anyone going through the same situation I wish Caitlin Jenner the best with her transition but that is nothing to do with any notion of fame but simply I would wish anyone the best when they can finally become who they want to be. I would add Mia really seems to have thrown her lot in with the vapidness that is celebrity culture for the sake of it too. The only thing I've heard about her in recent years is much the same as all of this; how she didn't actually say it but might of maybe possibly implied she had sex with somebody famous (Charlie Sheen I believe).
In reality (the actual reality not the arranged scripted one of reality TV) it's just all a bit sad and pathetic. The whole thing is about people with more money and less sense than most of us have cheating on their partners (maybe) or lying. If it didn't happen to involve Transgender people and how the whole thing just adds to negative perceptions I wouldn't bother to comment. If there wasn't a TV show involved nobody would be in the slightest interested on whether certain folk kept their underwear on around each other and/or told the truth.

This whole situation is fucking shameful. I don't know what's more upsetting - the disgusting levels of transphobia being displayed on social media or the fact that once again, another vile opportunist in the community would sink to such a despicable low.
Sometimes I forget how much of the world thinks of us and the women we admire. Yes, in many eyes, we are a bunch of faggots and the ladies are still just men in dresses. There is far more contempt for this community than the LGB community. For this reason many of us remain in the closet.
And yes, it's fucked up that the man is cheating (if he's indeed dating that underage girl) but no more so than an escort knowingly agreeing to see a man in a relationship. No one besides the vocal hypocritical transphobic/homophobic bigots deserves to be exposed like this

For over 30 years, the main dis to use against an opponent is to call them gay in any number of different ways. Even though there is a great deal of homosexual acts taking place in the hip hop community, they are all silent about it, other than Macklemore, I guess.
