Exactly and sex is meant to be enjoyed. What if the guy you are fucking can't get you off anally. I can with my husband, but I always thought gee what if I couldn't. That would suck.

Kelly - You have a point - a very valid one.
Sex is important, very! But there is a ying/yang dicotemy (sp?) here. There are trade offs. Maybe, for some, the aspects of the non-sexual, caring/loving part make up for some of the sexual?
And - in an open, trusting, (you know what you got into) relationship - the sexual part can be figured out.
Now - if the physical part is out from the beginning- it will not work - obviously - but you would never have gotten to that point in the first place.
We all like rocket sex, but as you get to a certian point in life - is that all there is? Trust me - we're all getting there!

Indeed. It's no good being with someone who isn't secure enough in themselves to be with you so why would any girl bother pining after guys like that?
