I can't say if Schuster or Siegel were Canadian, but Superman was created in Cleveland, Ohio. Well the US won our war of independence and the war of 1812 both against the Brits also won the war with mexico ,and the spanish american war. The korean war was more of a tie and I believe the Canadian military was there along with many other nations,and in Vietnam the US won every major battle in that war but lost it politically,and of course we won WW one and two ..as allies with England ,canada and many others ,but Im wondering how many wars has Canada won by itself ?
