It's not the fact that its a trans forum, a gay forum, or any kind of forum really. I agree that we shouldn't have to hide anything, but you explain that to the conservatives on the Naperville School District Board and the parents of the students. They have had people fired for far less. I know of one teacher who was fired for having a naked photo of his wife in his phone and it got out, although to my knowledge no one else saw it, he just was dumb enough to admit it when asked.

Fighting for rights is all fine and dandy, but as a recent graduate with crushing student loans and bills that have to be paid, i can't afford to lose my job while fighting for civil liberties. Call it bitch ass or being a pragmatist, but there it is. But yeah, if someone wants to stay on the DL, go ahead and charge, I don't see why you wouldn't if he's going to treat you like that. But don't lump all of us that won't put up a face pic as being that guy.
