You were ranting and raving all over the place... you lumped it all together. But I am not here to argue with you about.
But since marriage is put into this. Things are so different today. Where a lot of woman make more money than the man these days. So the idea of men being the bread winner is not something you always see.
Does that make them less of a man cause they can't take care of the family himself. No I don't think so. I just see it that marriages are more of the work of both sides... plus there is much more to bring to the table then just money... it can be taking care of the kids, the house, whatever...
I think marriage should be a 50/50 relationship. If both parties don't work to keep it together. It won't work. At least that's my input on it.
I also think if a person is selfish (man or woman), they should think twice before getting married. Being selfish won't lead to a lasting marriage. Plus if you don't have the time or lack of the desire to put the effort into it... you shouldn't get married either.
I can't say that because the question i was asked was related to marriages. I ranted on separate topics, so i don't see why you would even put 1 and 2 together.
I am aware of the modern women and a good portion of women making more than men, I don't need you to educate me on that. I was born int he 90's i am aware.
That's why when i say general circumstances i talk to the majority of marriages when men make more, and the wife has kids.... i hate repeating myself i really do so please let this stick in your head this time. I have nothing against you but seanchai and Rally got me annoyed, you bringing it up just lumps you along with them and I am just annoyed in general.

Guys, you need to separate the escort from the woman.
If Evon was a lawyer or an engineer as well as a wife and mother, would you even be having this discussion? In any committed relationship (those italics are important), each party brings what they can materially, but at base the foundation is love, respect and trust.
I would want to cherish and protect my partner, and if the definitions of those terms include a significant financial contribution, what's wrong with that? Plus, if she stays at home to look after the children or has a lower-paid or part-time job as a result, should I baulk at the idea of paying more? Of course not.
Take a deep breath and a step back before you leap to your keyboards again.

This is exactly what i mean about the general circumstances, majority of marriages men do make more, and the women in general have kids. I am not talking about the other circumstances where it is the obvious, if the woman does make more or what not... GENERAL... GENERAL PLEASE SAY IT WITH ME GENERAL....

I wasn't educating you or saying you didn't know this. I am just putting my input into it. That is all. What is wrong with that? Why would you assume such a thing? I was just sharing my thoughts on the subject of marriage that is all. I wasn't trying to say you didn't know all this... geez.
Plus you have to realize when a thread goes over 30 pages... you will have to repeat yourself a couple of times..
I repeated some stuff myself on this thread... it's not that big of a deal. I am just contribute to the conversation. I can't help that you are getting frustrated.
If you are getting that annoyed from it... you can always walk away from the conversation... that's all.

It's not as general as you think.... women are more educated these days... plus the fact of blue collar work getting less and less... there is more men making less money.
So you are going to see it change the face of what a family looks like from here into the future. A lot of people are struggling out there with low paying jobs or being unemployed. Cause the lack of work in the field they are in.

You did, but thanks for your opinions I really don't want to ask anymore of it.

Fine whatever... even though were are on the same side of the debate that Domino can charge whatever she feels right....
It's some of the other things we are disagreeing on.
And that's nice that you don't want anymore of my opinions... but I have the right to state them.
