You could start by not referring to transgender women as "trannys". That personally turned me off fast. It's kind of funny though, I used to get upset about the word "shemale", but I've seen it so much in the media and everywhere I don't even really think about it anymore.

Let me step in here as someone of Indian background but who was born and raised in South America and have lived in Canada for 75% of my life.

Indians born and raised in in SouthEast Asia DO have a tendency to smell. This is a belief held by Indians from my native country as well as people of Indian background born here in Canada that I've had this discussion with. The reason is simple: back on the sub-continent deodorant isn't popular AND the most popular food (curry) tends to excrete through the skin. There's nothing wrong with recognizing that for what it is.

I believe both of you are being honest with your opinions and you are both somewhat right. The key thing to note is that NOT ALL Indians smell like food/sweat just as not all Texans are racist or that all Brits have bad teeth......

Yup. And just to reiterate, I never said all. Just the majority of the ones I've met. The reason seems simple enough to me... a lot of first generation Indians/Pakistanis wind up in Texas because it's easy to start a small business, our colleges are geared towards tech and the dollar spends VERY well here. We get a lot of fresh culture delivered right off the planes. This means a lot of folks who have yet to assimilate to and/or adopt America's baseline norms.
