OMG... you people cannot read... or at least, cannot comprehend what you're reading! I have NOT, in any way, said this was ON PAR with victims of natural disasters, or anything as serious. Please QUOTE it for me if I have. That is an entirely different contextual debate.
Regarding Jamie and the OP, I have simply stated, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything and move on.
I can read. You linked these "victims" begging for rent with natural disaster victims receiving donations. Read your own posts, and learn to type what you want to express if they are inaccurate.

Well, I am far too stoopid to find it. So please quote it to me because you're making that up. Called to the carpet and waiting for your response.
Comparisons generally have the term 'like' in them. I don't think I ever said or implied that Jamie's issue is like disaster victims receiving donations because that WOULD be crazy. As I've already stated NUMEROUS times now, those references were made in a tangent discussion with a different person. But then again, I don't know how to type so I could be wrong.
Please quote.
Expected response: Umm... find it for yourself. I'm not going to do your work for you.
My response: Umm... you made the point so you support your own argument.
Expected response: You're stupid.
My response: OK.
Expected response: Yeah.
My response: Yeah.
Expected response: Yeah.
My response: I'm going to play Borderlands 2 now.

OK, missed this one.
So, by "good argument", I'm assuming you're referring to anyone who supports your point of view. Great! Way to have open discussion. NOWHERE did I mention foreign aid or use that term at all. Please find that for me? Thanks. So, no, not what I was talking about. How's that for ignoring a point?
Anyway, you're right on Oxfam. A great organization. Here in the USA, it gets an overall 60.31 (70) score on Charity Navigator, which is great. Looks pretty financially stable and has very high marks in accountability and transparency. Program expenses amounted to about 76% of revenue which is very high with Administrative Expenses coming to beneath 10% so looks like a good one to support. So kudos on that, and I really mean that.

Oh, screw you. I never said my design was better or even necessary. I am pretty vain, though. I mean, so vain I have to selfishly spend a half an hour in photoshop designing a site logo for somebody I barely know; understanding that it likely won't be put to use. So vain that in the post I didn't offer any kind of constructive criticism, suggest he use my design, or speak to my "superior design elements". Do you really have an issue with me lending my photoshop talent to people around here for free, or is this your pissy little way of preferring Jamie's artwork to mine? After the conversation her and I had in a PM a few weeks ago, I'm honestly wondering; not just trying to fault you yet again. The difference between Jaime and I is that she charges. I don't. I know SHE has a problem with that, but you shouldn't.

I mean, Krissy has been insinuating mental handicap for some time now, but that's not quite the same.
"I'd rather give up my finger than my money" isn't the smartest quote ever.
I know people who would pay $550 for you to keep your finger and do some unimaginably naughty things with it... and the rest of your fist and forearm.
I'm not one of those people.

Tiff, Eva, Jamie, sorry to hear about the robbery. It sucks, I know.
I do want to say something a little off topic, though, and that is it is a real turn on to find t-girls who are great writers, with obvious intellect and insight like GroobyKrissy and Trish. They use logic to back up their arguments. They use grammar that is far better than anything I have. They're well read.
Intellect is sexy as hell.

Awww... and here I thought we were making up. Just took my Doggy for a walk and here is some more pooh!
Pretty much what I expected as a response. So, of your four 'D' words, I can drop two (lack of evidence), and the other two, all you can come up with is my most recent post... which is hardly a distortion. Nice.
I have NO problem with you giving out away Photoshop work, and if you would just ask before you spout off... I haven't hired Jamie to do any work for me recently at all because of some comments she made on another forum that I really didn't want to tie my brand to. It was a business decision. So get some facts before you start making up untrue allegations. I will stand by my comment though that she does excellent work.
Nor do I have a problem with you interjecting yourself into threads... it is what a place like this is for. Still, c'mon... douchebag move to basically say someone's design elements are 'OK', but of course, you can make them better. It wasn't that type of thread and you shouldn't have done it... just my opinion. Whether you do your history or not, I have. Many of your threads come across as arrogant. Do you really want me to start quoting because we'll be here a while.
That's your personality and that's fine. I already know from previous experience that debating with you is a brick wall. You have your mind made up and you're arrogant enough to be close-minded about other points of view. I didn't engage you personally on that account alone. Debate is a two way street. As you can see from this thread, and my past ones, if someone brings out a point that is valid, I have NO PROBLEM admitting the point conceded. Can't really say the same for you...?
Yes, I interject some humorous 'barbs' every now and then. But they are humor. One gets the underlined point that you truly mean it when you go off ranting about someone personally, which you've done to me twice now, with a half-hearted apology both times and a call for truce just when I call you on the carpet and ask for specific examples of your allegations.
Anyway. Now I'm really off to play Borderlands 2 !!! I mean it!

It is just really REALLY irritating when people attack you for something you never said or implied out of sheer laziness or failure to read the context.

Re: Jamie French, Eva Cassini, Tiffany Starr robbed at gun point.
Krissy, I never really got the chance to air my opinion in all of this. The conversation was already pacing faster than I could reply so I didn't have much of a chance to get into it, and you probably assumed I completely agree with Bella. I don't.
I don't care if Jaime wants donations. I wouldn't complain if she were to post a new donation thread on HA once a day or more. I was a little worried that her motivations behind this donation post weren't honest, but once Tiffany corroborated the story I was satisfied.
I don't understand why she shouldn't ask for a donation after being robbed. People act like it should be her responsibility to essentially double-pay the rent because that's what "responsible people" do. I don't know her finances, but I'm not about to assume she's sitting on a huge pile of cash while she's asking for boob job donations and promoting the crap out of her new site content.
I don't have any problem with Jaime asking for donations or promoting new site content but lately, that's all she's been doing around HA; and she's not the first girl shunned around here because she has no appetite for conversation. That's just what happens when most of the site visitors think anybody is being too needy and not contributing anything back to the forum. If not in offense to the idea of asking for money after a personal emergency, it's likely that she's simply been asking too much lately.

sounds like team work to me, this story is getting pretty old. Now the last thing we need is someone (pornstar ) to pretend their seriously in pain in near-to-death situation for ppl to donate. Give a break.
Ms.French has every right ask for donation support but people are always going to have opinions , and some are going to suspect about it. She knew the case of Sabrina's thread and how much ppl talk about it, so it doesn't surprise me.

I'm not sure if you're actually directing this to me or to the company, Grooby Productions. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and so glazing over this. Well, no, I won't... because I'm pretty sure you're directing it at me.
So, let me state UNEQUIVOCALLY... I have NEVER, EVER asked for a handout of ANY KIND. It was not my upbringing to do so, and while I think that there is room enough for some compassion for those less fortunate, I basically believe in a work-hard-to-succeed mentality.
My first job was working along immigrants at 13 in the lettuce fields of the Salinas Valley laying irrigation pipe (insert jokes here). Anyone who has done that job will tell you it is exhausting and difficult work. Throughout High School, I traveled the world during the summers and have the Passport stamps to prove it. I've seen the good and bad of India, China, Guatemala, Costa Rica and numerous other places. Traveled Europe. Was homeless in San Francisco (partly why I love the city). Worked my ass off legitimately to get off the streets. Never been on any sort of government program. Never asked anyone for a favor I didn't earn. Worked my way through college. Am virtually debt free (small car loan). Built a successful solo site from scratch in a niche that usually doesn't favor success for someone like myself, and do not ask free favors of anyone (ask around). I work hard, play hard, and love the life that I currently lead.
So if you're speaking about me, you have absolutely NO idea what you're saying and I deserve an apology.

[EDIT]I'm more than willing to let this thread die but people keep on inserting my name. I think it is pretty poor form to leave things unanswered so I answer when I see something addressed to me. If you don't want a reply, then don't post a response. This has always been the way I operate on Forums... if you take the time to write, I'll take the time to respond. Fair enough?[EDIT]

I can see were never going to get along. You're making far too many assumptions about me than you should be; and vice-versa admittedly. I could go on debating excerpts of your replies until tomorrow and neither of us would be any closer at arriving at an agreement in any regard. I'm willing to admit I have you figured incorrectly, but this debate has been reduced to little more than character assumption. There's no coherent debate any longer and we're still trying to get over on one-another.
A couple of posts ago, I suggested we just give up and at least save face between threads so we don't butt heads in every discussion that comes up, but now that I know you generally have me figured as a douche bag, that's not going to be possible. Instead, I'm just going to ignore your posts; not to say you don't have anything valuable to add to a conversation, but if pattern provides any evidence, you and I are like oil and water.
