I disagree. His threat genuinely was accidentally deleted (not by me) but I talked to him and arranged this new sticky for him, which almost nobody gets.
From what I understand in my brief interaction, he did have a few issues going on and I can only hope he comes back.

BTW we worked for over 3 days trying to recover the lost data before I called a halt on it.

Oh yeah, I know it was an accident - but it was still fairly sloppy work! Since it happened I think you handled it very well tho. I doubt it was the only reason for him leaving, but was most likely a factor...

I know, and I may have overstated it in my previous post, Seanchai, but I did speak to him at the time. I know he'd been having a really bad time in various ways, and he saw the deletion of his thread pretty much as the last straw. However, he is regrouping and with luck and patience we should see him, and his wonderful posts and collages, back before too long.

Ironically, I think his new thread was getting less attention because it is a sticky, at least in my case. When I check out the board updates, I scroll right past the stickies and pay them no mind because they are all about the various parties, which don't interest me much. I would forget Paulistano's thread was even there. When it was in the regular section, I would always look at it when I saw it had been updated, even commenting a few times. That's what I think, anyway.
