For those such as Trish, I want to inform them of what this thread is really about. This thread was never about escorting or sex (I never should have included that part when I started this thread), but rather an observation regarding race. I believe that many Asians and some Hispanics have an inferiority complex with regards to White people, which is why they hate people of color. I am shocked at how many of my Asian male friends have told me that they can't get a date with an Asian girl because most of them will only date White men. Many Asian girls believe that White people are superior to them and are desperate to be apart of the White community. In the Asian community, people like this are called twinkies. Yellow (Asian) on the outside, but white inside. A perfect example would be Michelle Malkin, a Filipinia conservative commentator, who has attacked members of her own Asian community and other minority groups. She is obviously married to a White male and many believe that she is ashamed of her race. She has even wrote for some anti-immigrant/White Supermacist websites.

With regards to Hispanics, even though Latin Americans claim to be racially mixed, one only sees individuals who have a high percentage of European blood in positions of power and wealth. Thus, it does not surprise me that some Hispanics will only date Whites because they have never seen a positive image of a black or brown skinned Hispanic.

Even in the U.S., African-Americans are rarely ever shown in a positive light, which explains why some GGs and TS may not want to date them. But with someone like Barack Obama in the White House, hopefully more people will be able to conjur up more positive images of African-Americans and along with other people of color.

I hate to bring back a topic but I just wanted to say a few words. What people are complaining about is not racism. Racism is not getting a job or notbeing able to move some where bicause of race or percieved race.If one is talking about where they spend their money it is just a choice. Now if transexual providers were regulated by the state then there may be more of an argument. If some one is not interested in you or your money just look elsewhere. The racism subject is one that is sensitive for a lot of people but I dont think it is healthy to assume that a preference is made on racism. For the record I am black and I have asain, white ,black, hispanic TS and GG girls. I hang at a mostly hispanic venue and I wont say I am always succesful but I never feel its because of discrimination. There are a lot of issues in the TS community and so if people dont know you they might have some strange rules. Maybee thats how they are able to deal with things. I think you are missing the point though.

The point is, rather, the sentiment is, at least from my standpoint, is don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. The real "choice" is, most of these "I don't want to deal with black men" choices are because said girl is afraid of black men and thus, you are committing RACIAL DISCRIMINATION.

The reason It bends me a bit, has more to do with how, in 2010, people still treat black men in general. I agree with Ottorocket. I have learned through the years that TS Women are like other women with the major physical difference - their genitals. First and foremost the physical attraction has to be in any potential relationship. I am older and I am not in physically fit as I was in my 20's and 30's; therefore, I cannot demand or hope to date any beautiful TransWoman until I become the hardbody. I am back in the gym and hope to transform from a couch potato to a french frie - who doesn't love french fries. I have been fortunate to have befriended transwomen and semi-dated the ladies too. I am not even black, just someone who battles racism. When people do not speak out about racism, it will continue to exist. Please don't tell me racism no longer exists. Why don't you go ask those Sikhs who were murdered by a white supremacist in Wisconsin because they did not have white skin? Why not ask Trayvon Martin's parents if racism still exists? Why not ask President Obama who is callled a Kenyan Muslim Terrorist? Why not ask Muslim Americans about being racial harassed and attacked because of their race and religion? Only a fool would believe that racism is not a serious problem in America. I, along with many other Americans, believe it has gotten even worse because white America is having a difficult time dealing with the fact that America has a black president and that non-white Americans are growing in population and will soon be the majority in the United States.

I created this thread almost four years ago. I have to admitt that since President Obama has been in the White House, things have gotten a lot better for men of color in terms of dating tgirls who are Hispanic and Asian. White males are no longer viewed as having all the power in this country and thus, men of color (Hispanic, Black, Asian, Arab, and Biracial men) are having an easier time with Hispanic and Asian tgirls.
