You are right unless you are willing to stretch yourself thin across MANY venues then its hard to keep doing this job. Also its just not possible to be a full time "pornstar"... you have to be an affiliate, camming, some escort not all, blogger, etcc......

IMO thats a very deep complex answer tbh. its not simple, many many many factors. Lets use me for example ,the simmple fact ive been round since aug 2005 till present day jan 2014nearlylol) .. and I am just little old me.. and here i am, thinking more along the lines of when i should end my career, not when it will end or i will be pushed to end it.

I've been around going on 8 years now and I'm still largely a nobody... though, when you're as hands on as I am in this business you find that porn morphs into all sorts of other outlets so there's always something new to do and porn itself just kinda becomes a catalyst for a whole host of other opportunities and experiences. I couldn't retire from porn any more than I could retire from driving a car... it's total utility for someone like me, not a means to and end or an end in and of itself. For me, It's a completely lateral concept apart from ends and means.
