This is a great topic...AND started by one of the girls. I find it disingenuous that anyone..especially other girls would try to dismiss it simply because they have a different view or because they only have a one dimensional hustle.
On one hand..many of you say you hate when guys only come at you as a sex object or fetish..pornstars..freak...chick with a dick..hoe..escort..Etc etc..yet you jump all over a girl who diversifies the threads with a topic about "alternative" work versus escorting. Seems like a discussion you all would embrace..especially those with other skills

This topic should be embraced. I'm interested to know what some women are doing along with their adult work or escorting. What are their long-term plans for income and stability, short of getting married and relying on the husband for cash flow lol

Well, I plan on using my microbiology degree to work as a researcher for a biotech company, and do escorting on the side. I don't think I could ever be a full-time TS escort or porn actress...I'd feel like I'm wasting my real talents.

I'm also living in both worlds, although for me it's working a corporate job and then escorting on the side here and there, I don't happen to do porn. And I actually started escorting *after* I had a corporate job for a good while... I feel like a bit of an outlier in that regard, lol. But there's a real mix of people on these forums.
If you're looking for discussion boards for transsexuals living regular lives outside the adult industry, they're out there... But that's not what Hung Angels is about.
(To be honest, I've been looking for a discussion board that is really just geared toward tv/ts escorting, not so much porn like this site is, but I haven't really found anything. This site nice and busy but probably less than 5% of the threads are about escorting. Myredbook almost fits the bill but it's just focused on the Bay Area which is annoying.)

Well for me I am too old for porn so I have to work and save for all the treatment I need. I work in the Web industry so I can always freelance if I need to.

As has been stated, this is a porn forum first and foremost with very little added by women who are not in the industry. most of the women that participate here are involved to a certain degree with the porn/escorting industry.
i would suggest, rather than posting what amounts to a rhetorical thread, that you start discussions about being a 9-5er so that perchance the forum can evolve as others have done above.
