Is there any real difference between Glen Beck's white guy rally
and the plan to build that mosque near Ground Zero?
Or if I could change the facts a bit to make for a more direct comparison – What if the guy behind the plan to build that mosque obtains a permit to hold a “Restore Honor” parade for Muslims on September 11 on the street where the Twin Towers once stood?
I think we all agree that the outrage would be pretty incredible if that happened.
Mr. Beck chose the 47 anniversary of Dr. King’s I Have a Dream speech to hold his Restore Honor” rally and obtained a permit from the Park Service to hold the rally.
The poorly organized King family and other leaders found out too late that this historic spot had been taken and was left with New Jersey Avenue as the location for the real celebration of that historic day.
