True, kids rarely hold back their feelings when they see someone they feel is different.

But allowing kids to do stuff like this, or worse- encouraging it, is what establishes the mindsets that cause discrimination in the first place.

How people reproduce & raise kids is how society is duplicated. If that means encouraging kids to target people who they identify as different or odd, then that is going to have a snowballing effect throughout the rest of society; eventually causing violence, job discrimination, failure to protect the civil liberties of others, etc.

I don't think transsexualism is a medical condition that cares about how thick skinned its patient is. Not everyone who is trans is going to be thick skinned, and some people have to become thick skinned with time...

I thought I was pretty clear earlier in saying that everyone in that video was in the wrong, the girl who maced the kid so wrong that she should be thrown in jail for it. You don't mace or taze people simply because they are rude to you. It's wrong when cops do it, it's wrong when civilians do it.
