Is dating a tranny a way of staying in the closet?

The problem with these kinds of post is that they come from the stand that the ONE THING that makes TS women different or unique is what they have between their legs. Sure, plenty of guys only see the dick as being the one thing that makes them different but that is not true for all of us.

So if a guy says that he likes post-ops just as much as pre-ops them he is giving an excuse.

There are far too many men on here that feel like if you don't like transwomen for the same reasons that they like transwomen than you are in some kind of denial.

Human attraction, of any kind is not that fucking simple. People who are attracted to short, tall, Black, Asian, plus sized, blonde, hairy, skinny, bald, trans people or whatever else do so for a multitude of reasons.

Putting blanket statements on an entire group of people usually results in or comes from ignorance. we all have an array of differences. We all may be attracted to transsexual women but that doesn't mean that we are attracted to the same transsexual women for the same reasons.

I get the feeling that those who will put up post after post telling others what they really feel are in many ways insecure about what they feel.

The problem is that there's a good deal of reification going on.

The categories are just sociological groupings, means of talking about types of person. The reality is always more complex and subtle than gay/bi/straight.

The problem is that, for many people, these categories are real things that feed back into their own sexuality. I'm spoken to loads of girls who are essentially miserable because they see themselves (rightly) as women and they think that any uy who would seek out a TS is gay and, as women, they have no business dating gay men. So, in effect, they can't date anyone who is attracted to them unless they surprise them after picking them up in a bar or something.

You see it too in the way gay men react to fem or sissy guys. They fancy men and so, they reason, they shouldn't have anything to do with effeminate guys and so they seek out straight guys who, of course, arent into other straight guys at all.

Treating these categories as real things only makes for misery.

if you want to fuck guys, fuck guys, if you want to fuck trannies, fuck trannies. Worry less about broad and simplified categories and focus more upon spending time with the kind of people you are attracted to.

The whole Freudian notion of people being secretly this or secretly that is poisonous bullshit.

& thats a major thing to me.
I cant date a man who is into ts's as I feel objectified. But maybe your point goes closer to it.

I cant date anyone as when ~I meet & get on with a man, I freak out at revealing my past
so I rattle round my head.

And the really sad thing is that does it really matter. I know a number of couples initially attracted because of a label, but which have since developed into life long bondings.
Its when people see past the trimming, to the real person, meaningful things happen.

Maybe an attraction to t-girls is a pretty good base. If the relationship in itself does not work, it won't last anyway. Being a jerk is not compensated for by being into t-girls.

And at least the 'will he accept me for what I am?' question is out of the way.

A Guy who is gay likes men because they look, act, smell, ect.. like men.

Transsexuals are quite the opposite. I don't see how a gay man would get any sort of satisfaction from someone who looks, acts, smells, ect.. like any other woman.

Not only that, but outside of porn, I know ALOT of transwomen who would not even let the guy see what she has down there if she is pre-op.

I would put it to you that 'straight', 'gay' and 'bi' completely fail to encompass the complexity of human sexuality.

I have posted this in another thread but I feel it fits here also. I still don't understand why people argue so vehemently on here all the time about whether they're straight or not. Who gives a fucking shit? We, (I'm speaking for the guys here), obviously all like TS Girls, that's why we're here. However the idea of defining myself by that one factor is totally alien to me. Speaking personally I had always dated GG's, I'd never even met a TS girl before I met my partner, who just happens to be TS, and we have been together for 6 years now.

We just clicked and the next thing I knew I had her dick in my mouth, that's that! I certainly didn't stop to second guess how Society would label me as I fell in love with her, it was, and is, irrelevant. As a side note I would like to add she had her SRS 3 years ago and it changed nothing, it just meant that the woman I love was now happier than ever, which made me happier than ever.

I simply don't care about such labels and I find the amount of people on here who spend so much of their time justifying why liking TS Girls makes you Gay/Straight/Bi/Whatever STAGGERING! If everyone could stop thinking in these narrow terms it would leave more time for them to get on with the more important things in their lives, like finding their dream TS Girl!
