A good point you made. You demonstrated openmindedness in other topics though, so when you voiced strong negative opinions against groups of people here it was more shocking than if one of the resident bigots had done it.

I think for some of us that have faced oppression (in whatever form it takes) we want to believe in a shared camaraderie against the oppressor (whoever they may be) and in this case you validated the oppressor. (maybe i'm just talking rubbish and have just been reading too much Frantz Fanon lately)

Anyways, for what it's worth I find your ideas interesting although I don't agree withall of the latter ones and hope you keep posting.

It's not surprising to me that as Birgitta has expressed an opinion you disagree with you and you can't convince other people into turning against her, you now accuse her of manipulating people and have even gone so far as to creating a thread about her in order to further malign her. Wrong. I take life seriously, the scope of which is not limited to myself. And I didn't malign anyone. I just thought we all had a right to know something about the background of the person, the n00b person, who has come here to stir the pot. I don't think that's an unreasonable request, but most importantly: why is it that nobody on this board seems to believe that anybody on it has the best interests of the majority at heart? Is it because, like I pointed out on the escort rate threat, people find transsexuals selfish and wasteful? Well, that's all well and good, but it still sounds like stereotyping to me. :wiggle:
