Well, in USA text-books it may be like this. But fortunately the USA text-books are not considered as the solid (and even not solid) scientific materials. Except for the territory of the USA. People should be mad to consider the Slavs as the Caucasians (or one of the parts of the group of Caucasian peoples) and the same for the Russians. These ones belong to Indian/Iranian group of the peoples. And the Slavs - to the Slavic group of the peoples. They have nothing common ethnically with the Caucasians.

Arghhhhhh! Russians are not Negroids nor are they of the Asiatic group which includes the native peoples of the Americas and Polynesia - therefore since there are 3 groups they are part of the CAUCASIAN group. As I said before it's a term create by a German scientist in the 1800's and is effectivly rubbish.

Caucasian has nothing to do with Ethnicity so I dont know why the hell you are bringing that into it.
