Yes it is simple, a blood test on a post op transgender woman is going to show the sex as biological male, so the surgery did not change the sex of the person even if her gender is female, logically to manipulate by surgery the physical characteristics to look as a female thus matching the gender can not be a sex reassignment surgery, as sex is biologically impossible to change, sexual reconstruction doesn't apply either as it implies you are rebuilding something that broke leaving as the only logical choice gender reassignment surgery since you are altering the physical characteristics of a person to match their gender. In simple terms you're re assigning the body to match the gender even if biologically the sex have not changed.

I am pretty sure a blood test would look as if the transwoman was a female assuming they were taking hormones and prescribed. I think you would need a chromosome test. Even then, there are a large amount of transwomen with klinefelter's.

I think you make some good points, but the post you were replying to was about the way some men behave like spoiled brats when a favourite girl goes post-op. Whatever the reasons, common courtesy demands that people show some respect and consideration. The operation is a one-time, huge decision and it's really not fair to dump a load of self-doubt on a girl for doing that which she believes is right for her.
