I live in Baltimore because it is my home, it is where i want to live. I guess one can make a similar analogy to a black person who lives in Selma Alabama during the 50's, If they don't like the hate where they live then they should have just move out. that can be said of any black person who today lives among white people who hate them,, they should stop whining and just move to somewhere else,, this would solve all problems. Black people in my area don't have anything to do with my mental problems, but they do when they commit criminal acts against me or people I know. I hear what you say about having to run the gauntlet, but lack of fairness created that and through it people are not wise and make these bad decisions, most of the time people are blinded to who the true enemy is.

Sure, they loved their home, but self-preservation trumped that. They couldn't fix the racial problems of the south, nor are you being asked to fix the myriad problems of Baltimore. I get where you are coming from and i understand what you are saying, but don't get disheartened, i think others may get it cos they have stopped attacking you, why should you run from your home and why should you have to live your life in fear and the answer is you shouldn't and thats why you stayed.
