Sydney is probably the no 1 spot. It's got the right mix of qualities - Darlinghurst and Oxford street and all the clubs, good beaches, decent cityy, great harbour. Melbourne is better for shopping and some decent clubs. The rest is pretty much scattered like most towns.

I'm from Perth and would love for you to visit, but in all honesty if I were to advocate somewhere other than the obvious (Sydney and Melbourne) it'd be the Gold Coast. Especially if you're looking to work on a tan!
Perth has no scene at all, but touring Asian TS are fairly common, probably due to the cheap and accessible airfares from SE-Asian countries. Mostly the same ones seem to return once or twice a year, so they must find it to be decent enough.
