Well, I guess it's time I put my :2cent worth in! Even though, I can't think of one woman, not a single one, that has ever taken my advice in the past....
1.) Luna, it is, most certainly your right to do what you feel is best for you. I don't think anyone here, questions or, disagrees with that.
2.) IMO, you possess a characteristc that very few of the ladies that have entered you community either had or have....God given 'Natural Beauty'. Based on what I have seen of you, so far, I don't see how, even the best of surgeons, could possibly improve on that.
3.) If you feel you need to proceed, I support you, fully....and pray for only the best outcome for you. Should you have any doubts, please, don't proceed until you have resolved them. Once it's done, IT'S DONE.
Luv ya,
Corvettedude
IMHO, Danielle is right, you really don't need any surgery. You have a very natural cute and youthful face. It's basic human nature to focus on one's flaws, whether percieved or real, and it's always possible to find something that's not perfect. Heck, I've known many highly attractive GGs who are filled with insecurities about their appearance. But, honestly, many of them would get work done to look like you.
However, plastic surgery is more of an art than a science and it is hard for any surgeon to accurately predict the final results. In addition to the skill of the surgeon, a lot of it depends on your underlying anatomy and the way that your body responds and heals. There is always a danger of making things worse or losing a natural look, and there is no guarantee that the results will meet your expectations (especially in facial surgery).
Just because Dr. O or Dr. Z's calipers say that something is 2 mm too long or 3 mm too short doesn't mean that it will be worthwhile to make adjustments. Based on some of their criterea, I'd bet they could find multiple "flaws" in almost any woman.
With blunt honesty:
I see no problem with your forehead and hairline: There are plenty of hot GGs who have a longer forehead than you. Your eyebrow positioning and underlying bone structure seems fine too. The very minor difference achieved by a scalp advancement/brow lift will not be worth the risks of scarring or misalignment. Your chin looks totally feminine: relatively short, narrow, and slightly pointy. The rest of the features are a matter of taste/personal preference if anything.
In either case, I would recommend that you get multiple consultations to get several opinions on what can/should be done. Just remember that in private practice, the more procedures that a surgeon does, the more he gets paid. And, many surgeons (especially plastic surgeons) tend to have a rather agressive attitude and their self-confidence often exceeds their actual skill.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do. But remember, in cases such as this, less is more.
I hope im not too late to give mine...Quote:

Ms, Foxx, you're really a good person! You have a good heart! God bless you always!
LUNA YOU SO DAMB HOT I AM SHAMED TO SAY IVE NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE.I MUST BE LIVING UNDER A ROCK.YOU ARE ONE OF THE PRETTEST TG I HAVE EVER SEEN.MOST TG WOULD LOVE TO HAVE WHAT YOU HAVE NATURALLY.I SAY LEAVE THAT SEXXXY FACE THEY WAY IT IS.
PS,LUNA TOP OR BOTTEM?
I'm not insecure about my flaws but if people are, then that's their business and they should correct them for their well-being. People are always looking to buy big houses, big cars, etc for self satisfaction, but when a person wants to improve their appearance they jump in like it's their business. Would u say to someone "don't but that house, the one u have at the minute's just fine"??
It makes me laugh how many people on this forum think that because tgirls post here, they have the right to have a say in their personal business.
Luna,You Are Very Beautiful The Way U Are,Awesome Facial Structure,
Just Natural Beauty. But,It's Your Decision And I Wish You The Best
Well there you have it Miss Luna.
You are a gorgeous woman, and altho it is your decision in my opinion some therapy work first would most certainly clear your brain of the clutter and help you focus on what's really a solid goal.
Just an old bitch to a lovely baby
This girls is obviously very natural looking and pretty as is.
However, what other people see is not always what one sees in the mirror.
I do think that EVERYONE can benefit from FFS surgery. Especially hthe forehead and nose.
Plastic surgery is not always about radical change- but it can also be about refinement and refining features.
I am never one to talk anyoneone out of any surgery- like trying to talk someone out of a sex change.
I think if you really want to change something then you just simply should. If you are happy with it- then that is great too.
As far as therapy is concerened- well it works for some and not for others.
I do think no matter how much therapy you have , or how much you tell yourself you are gorgoeus the reality of life and the world is that we do not live alone and we must face other people constantly.
A trans woman who is very passible of course does nto have to deal with the same issues that a trans woman who is not when she leaves her home.
It's just a matter of learning how to deal with it and your circunstance.
I say if you are able to do it and really want to do it- then do it.
I would NOT listen to the advice of others in terms of what you should do and not do to your body or face as people's opinions about your appearance are just as subjective as you are about yours.
I WOULD listen to the stories and recommendations of other transsexuals who have been through the peocedures you want. I would do my research, interview several doctors, make sure I met patients who had the SAME results you are wanting.
Reasearch, reasearch, reasearch!
With that being said, plastic surgery is also NOT a cure all of your problems. YES, it can change your life and make you feel way better about yourself but you will still be you inside after it's all said and done.
Oh and about Dr. O- he can seem a bit aggressive but he really knows his stuff and he undoubtley does the BEST foreheads.
With a good surgeon, this already pretty girl, could enhance her beauty more, if this is what she so wished.
She is very, very lucky to have such a natural face and such a great foundation to begin with.
The choice wether she wants to stay natural or become more of a bombshell is totally HERS.
But I do see the good intent of everyone here and she is very lucky to look the way she does without surge.
I agree completely with Allanah about refinement and refining features. i love and adore Luna's face as is but at I think a little refinement here and there would probably benefit her from looking beautiful to undetectable beauty. I'm not saying that she is detectable right now, i'm saying is she would have 100% undetectability in this world wherever she goes after few refinements. I still love her her now as is and she knows that, right Luna?! :D But I think, we as a transsexual woman tends to be more hard on ourselves compared to biological girl because as Luna stated earlier in this forum that IF WE WERE BORN AS BIOLOGICAL FEMALES, we would not even probably think of getting anything done because we wouldn't SECOND GUESS ourselves in every where we go, we do. But since we are born like this and since we can't go back to our mama's womb and tell her " hey mom, please when you give birth to me please make sure that I will have a pussy and not a penis" :D then the only option we have in this world is MODERN SCIENCE, MEDICINE, TECHNOLOGY. That's about it. But for what is worth, I know that Luna has the most beautiful asset of all....INNER BEAUTY! :D And i'm sure she will be more beautiful on whatever she does with her body. She will always be the same Luna that we all love because of what she is and not because of what she have. Love you girl. We'll meet each other soon and shop till we drop. :)Quote:

Her face is purrrrfect as is. If it ain't broken then don't try to fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The old sayings are the best, but also very true in this case!Quote:

First off, I wouldn't put the Amanda Lepore end result beyond anyone here, especially when the fact is that having this lifted and that tucked is as common for many of these ladies as buying a new pair of shoes. And secondly, the "after" pic Luna provided as to how she hopes to look afterward reminds me of Jennifer Paris, who in my humble opinion has a face that looks rather cartoonish, so I'm not sure where you'd have any hope that the "plastic and unreal" look wouldn't be the same in this case. I don't know if you were referring to Jennifer Paris or not, but she is an example of that particular look in my opinion, and I don't see how one can even mention a certain look without giving an example, so... there it is.Quote:

Anyway, kudos to Danielle for a comment you made that apparently was overlooked completely. You probably meant it in a different way than I might have had I said it, but it dealt perfectly with this entire situation. I would explain what I'm talking about, but it would lead to complete madness in this thread in short order and my immediate banning, and I'm kind of trying to stay here at least until Christmas. So... that's that.
Thank you.
While I understand the need for at least some surgery in the overwhelming majority of cases and for the reasons you've provided Gia, what I'd love to know is why it is that all too often, it's an endless cycle? Once one has the body and face of a woman, why is it they almost always decide that they need an even more feminine face, an even more feminine body, a shapelier ass, poutier lips? You know what the end result is? Becoming a living cartoon, that's what. And that's fine really, if that's the intended goal. But is it really?Quote:

Now, I admit that I am by no means a psychiatrist, but I've noticed decidedly different personalities beginning to emerge as this endless "feminization" process progresses. Suddenly, we're blessed with the presence of a diva, who only five years earlier was a very different and much better person, but who now is so full of herself that her every interaction with people tends to result in needless drama. Everybody doesn't turn out as altogether pleasant or attractive as I find yourself and Hara Juku sadly, but then, everybody doesn't suffer from an unrealistic view of what femininity is and an unhealthy body image, which is at the heart of why some people wind up looking like you two do, and others like comic strip characters.
My unsolicited two cents. I do believe I may not make it to Christmas...
Luna u r sooo beautiful, not that i am telling u what to do, but u r stunning in the here-and-now. In my opinion u need not a thing done to ur face. Ur completely passable AND attractive! But whatever makes u happy hun!
Peace :D
The big brown eyes in the last picture, WOW :o
I dopn't get what message you are trying to give me though TJ347. I'm not unrealistic about the whole feminine image thing. I'm saying is that If we we're born the right way, we wouldn't even have this discussion right now. I wouldn't even dare touch my natural face if I was born as what I feel inside. I do believe that transsexuals has mental problems one way or another, we think more deeper when it comes to our appearance. But with all that said and done, I still agree with you completely that having inner beauty is more important than anything else. But the reality of the world is that people will care of how you look from the outside, they could care less of how you feel in the inside. You could be the as real as it gets from the inside as a woman but if your outside don't match. It wouldn't do any good of how we want to live in this world. I'm sure you mean well for me , Hara or whoever girls here that say this things about getting it done. I do get your point. That if we already have the natural feminine face, why go through it right? Then again it goes back to the whole thing that I just said earlier. It's like no ending. I don't wanna look like a comic character or a cartoon but i'm going to do what needs to be done to get me there. Thank you for your response. :DQuote:

Here in the south, I have seen far too many girls go overboard with silicone. They will go for a slight boost in their cheekbones to only end up looking like they have on a halloween mask.
If Luna was my girl, I might be afraid that surgery could take away some of that natural beauty that she has. However if it is done right it could be a great tweak.
I just want to say something about his comment. I'm sure that some of the girls actually changes attitude wise because of their new appearances from the help of surgeries. It doesn't mean that all girls are like this. Although I haven't touched my face yet, I can assure you from now till the next time we meet after my surgeries that I would be the same person you talked to before and always will. Surgeries is a big confidence booster...i'm sure the ladies can agree to this at some degree but "just because you got prettier and more good looking than you did before doesn't mean you are going to be a bitch or a diva like you said or another person or change your values in life". I know where I stand and I plan on keeping it that way. MORALS & VALUES AND PRINCIPLES are 3 things that is very impotant to my life. If I don't stick with it then I would end up being like someone that i'm not! I have met a lot of girls that got it done and everything and very beautiful now and they are still the same person that i knew before. But I am sure too that some girls tend to be over confident to a point of being mean and putting down people when they got it done...I don't know what their reasons are. But not all girls are the same. It just sounded to me like you generalized us. I am not attacking you, i'm just telling you how I truly feel about what you said. And for a moment there, IT HURT ME. Thanks. Have a wonderful day TJ347!!! :DQuote:

Luna...do what you want. Just don't get crazy with it.
Luna. You look so perfect! No need to change that.
Luna from all th photos that I have seen of you, you are a lovely young lady.
I will admit that I haven't read the 10 pages prior to this post.
However I will also admit to being someone that values surgical
intervention in moderation.
Thus I would suggest that you consult with a surgeon, and discuss various
options.
Be fore-warned that many surgeons are very willing to perform
proedures, either because they are money hungry or because they
want to 'surge' a girl up.
When we are young, we tend to be more fem, as we get older if we don't
intervene with HRT, and moderate surgery, we may lose that edge.
Peggu I agree and Vicki Richter has said the same thing. But hey...even GGs need some minor tweeking after 30 I think
hey even us guys need some tweeking after 30 :D .
I didn't mean my previous comments to sound like a generalization of transsexuals far and wide; I was (as is ALWAYS the case) only speaking from my personal experiences, and was in no way trying to insult you with anything I said. On the contrary, I was complimenting you (and Hara) on knowing where to draw the line. While I do realize that some of the things I said may hurt some feelings, that was not my intention, and if I am going to be truthful with my thoughts on various matters, potentially offending someone is unavoidable. Unfortunately.Quote:

LOL Kelly, i dont know why but I think men age, how you say..."gracefully".
If u still get clocked from time to time, get the FFS and pay everybody dust.
i cant wait for mine. its just so expensive, theres not point of stressing about it right now.
I havent been confronted dilema face to face...although people could clock me behind my back.
What is dust?
:( sorry
I agree I am not stressing myself about as much as i did before but I definitely am excited about it. Im going to do how you did though and not say that im going in for surgery before its done. :)
