Ref UK Punting discussion above:
Compare with cybercrime and the Lauri Love saga (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauri_Love he hacked a US computer from the UK US and they tried to extradite him to US). Thus UK Punting could be entrapped to offer services of a sex trafficked person in US, and may lead to US civil action.
Need to read the exact wording, since by enabling civil action it may not lead to a criminal / extraditable offence against a non US website operator. Although such operator would not be able to set foot in the US.
This really is one of those idiotic cases where the lawyers will sit down on Monday and go W.T.F. does this mean? I think a main route to sanity will be when someone tries to sue Google, Facebook, Twitter etc for negligently putting up a link or web page for something involving a trafficked sex worker.
This may take years to blow over. Sadly as many others have pointed out there will be no place for free speech to call out scammers, fraudsters, robbers; and possibly even to advertise.
You can thank yourself - or your friends and politicians who voted in the current administration.
It passed by a fucking 97-2 vote. For you to try to make this a partisan thing about the current administration when there's no fucking way Trump could get 97 senators to vote on anything in unison is mind boggling.
This sucks. Well if anyone knows any alternatives or a new site gets set set up would appreciate a pm, cheers guys
Just been reading up on history of US Prostitution law. Fascinating story. Used to be almost totally legal before 1900,then regulation started in 1910 with inter state sex trafficking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mann_Act
Interesting read for us in UK where prostitution as-such is legal (except brothels, streetwalking/soliciting and a couple of other nuances).
Introduced by Republican Rob Portman (R-OH), co-sponsored by 43 fellow Republicans (including former Presidential candidates John McCain, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio) and 27 Democrats (including potential Presidential candidates Amy Klobuchar, Sherrod Brown, Tammy Duckworth, Kamala Harris, and Chris Murphy). It passed the House 388-25 and the Senate 97-2 (Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Rand Paul (R-KY) were the only to oppose). So both.
I'm glad that action against sex trafficking is being taken, but this particular bill seems misguided.
I'm particularly sad about Craiglist. That has been a great resource for both hookups and dating over the years.
This is truly a damn shame and an end of an era! id like to thank everyone for their reviews and experiences especially those in the NJ thread...flabby,smithken,cdale,longislandoc,danima l, new guy antoncarrera (whos reviews i was really looking forward to) and everyone else who has made our personal experiences a lot safer, better and more informative. lets all hope this will be temporary.. for all NJ enthusiasts im willing to share experiences via private messaging just hmu!
be safe out there!
Maybe its possible to made a new website or a separate one registered somewhere in EU ? where this US wankers will not be able to get their hands on !!!The review section can be reopened but through the new link: I have some nice domains what I can offer for free + Im ready to make some donation to help in that case. I think everyone have to think about it and to find a real way how to support the community - cos we are a huge community round the world ((( Its lots of websites where u can find a review section but nothing the same as hungangels. I believe on this forum we can find a Lawyer and many other guys who can give a real advice and to help solve the issue . Its not a good deal if everyone will run away at this hour.
Cmon guys - don't be silent - I think its a good time to pay back to Steve and to close ranks . Why we have to shut up because of someone from US.
We have to grow up and think about our security .
All real deals and advice its better to txt in private to Steve. I believe its possible to find a way how to legally get round the low.
Xxx
wow it really is a shame.. I want to thank everyone who contributed to the NJ section. Hopefully an alternative msg board will arise somewhere/somehow.
I have a few in mind that I think will be good, however I'm not comfortable with promoting another forum through this one.
I love this site and just because that section is gone doesn't mean Ill stop visiting here :)
Be interesting to see how the next "Women's Marches" handle this...
bye bye miss american pie
...drooove my chevy to the levee but the levee was dry... and them good ol' boys were drinkin' whiskey in rye, singin' “This'll be the day that I die"
i wanna give a big shout out to everybody who made the NY THREAD SO DOPE.
you guys know who u are, i owe yall so many good times, i fully intend to buy multiple rounds, i would say names but Big Brother watchin i guess.
thank you
Saturday morning 5am i got a call from a guy with a lovely voice,, .....
.. ..making the story short, he was feeling distressed as his last 2 visits
had been disappointing for him and so he wanted some guarantees from me
that i was not gonna be the same experience, so to reassure him, i sent him the usual HA link where my review are (wer)
.. got a call after 5 min, saying wrong link, no access .. chesked that myself, and found laphroaig's post
kindly redirecting to the right link explaining what happened_
That thread sure, will be greatly missed by loads of chap and girls
I havenot used this website very much, but it was useful and reassuring for most people, by just typing in Google/ HungAngel/+ (the girl's name)
and most of the time there was a direct link to the Thread abot that particular girl_
It was nice and it is sad when things change_
Possibly without that thread, there will be more scammers who'll get away with it, easierly_
Obviously there is always a solution for everything and Uk is not US, at least
for some more time, as we need to consider that this world is now a small global village where facts, events, news, spread out faster than they use to,
and new laws are often created/
Craig list, was at risk already few years ago, and sadly is gone... and in Uk at least for the moment there is no evident major warning
that the same is going to happen, but considering what is happening in some EU countries,
one could suspect that there are signs which could lead us think of some early warning, when it comes to sex-work and also in terms of advertising websites_
Luckily in the Uk, body-sale is kinda legal, as it happens in the act of exchanging sexual activities for money, although there is a more refined way to say it,
which is paying a sex worker for the Time spent with her, and whatever happens is the mutual consent of two grown up persons_
The law seems to be fine with escorts working on their own and as someone rightly said, brothels and street walking/ pimping are of course condemned_
It could be a bit ambiguoius in some cases, and it exists in a kind of uncertain area, a bit clouded area_
just like the british weather,,
Technically a duo could also be illegal, and in 3 months ago meeting with some sex workers organizations the speaker had also specified
that for example doing a 3sum with a married couple it is not illegal, whether a 3sum with a non married couple could be technically illegal_
Some sex workers women who had expressed their doubts about having an assistant who picks up clients, due to the weird flat location
were told that if the assistant was an old lady all should be fine and if she was a young lady it could be considered the same as a small brothel 1+1_
Now i know that's weird but what can we do if those are the rules_
Getting back to the anxious chap, not sure if he's gonna turn up or not, will see how it goes_
The 5am unexpected surprise, made me unconsciously utter
those quintessential words, normally used for this type of events:
Sh** is gone !,,, "Where is my fucking thread now" ?_?
Best Regards
J_V
I understand but so sad about this
You have to remember that whoever owns the site will amass a VAST amount of sensitive personal information [SPI] on the site users, some of whom will be US ‘prostitutes’, and my vote would be the EU (with The General Data protection Regulations [GDPR] coming into force in May this year) rather than - no slight at all on Katherine - certain other countries beyond the reach of US legislators who don’t give a damn what anyone else thinks or where the data could be used as ‘kompromat’ later against (upstanding) politicians.
Even in the UK it is finally getting through the skulls of our politicians that this is a very messy area. In our case that an age verification database for adult sites = a porn consumers / kink database = ‘kompromat’; and they will be in it; and it WILL leak.

What next, bring back prohibition.
Let's abolish escorting sites, but keep automatic weapons !
Well done to the voters, who voted him in.
this sucks and is such a retarded move. what two consenting adults do whether payment is involved or not should not be the business of .gov
is there any alternative?
I understand the webmaster's cautious approach but it seems that everyone is chucking the baby out with the bath water. SESTA and FOSTA are all about taking action against those websites that know sex trafficking is taking pace. The Internet Association also insisted the act was amended so as to ONLY target those websites that knowingly participate (see the final quote). From the wiki link:
"It seeks to clarify the country's sex trafficking law to make it illegal to knowingly assist, facilitate, or support sex trafficking".
"The Stop Advertising Victims of Exploitation (SAVE) Act made it illegal to advertise sex trafficking, knowingly benefit financially from participation in a venture that advertises sex trafficking, and to engage in activities related to sex trafficking besides advertising, knowingly or in reckless disregard of the fact that sex trafficking is involved."
"He attributed this largely to Backpage—an online classifieds service that had been accused of knowingly accepting ads which facilitated child sex trafficking, and filtered specific keywords in order to obfuscate it.
"The Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act amends Section 1591 of Title 18 of the United States Code to add a definition of "participation in a venture", as knowingly assisting, facilitating, or supporting sex trafficking."
"Kenneth Glueck stated that it would "establish some measure of accountability for those that cynically sell advertising but are unprepared to help curtail sex trafficking".
And most importantly:
"The Internet Association stated that it would "support targeted amendments to the Communications Decency Act that would allow victims of sex trafficking crimes to seek justice against perpetrators", but initially criticized SESTA for using terms which were undefined or broadly-interpreted in case law, and argued that it would "introduce new legal risk not just for internet services that do not knowingly and intentionally facilitate illegal conduct, but also create risk for an incredibly broad number of innocent businesses by expanding the notion of contributory liability."[17] The Internet Association pledged support for SESTA on November 3, 2017 after an agreement to clarify portions of it; in particular, the definition of "participation in a venture" was amended to replace "knowing conduct by an individual or entity, by any means, that assists, supports, or facilitates a violation" with just "knowingly assisting, supporting, or facilitating a violation"."
I think you could be right but how long we'll suffer from this is unknown?
Just wanted to thank everyone for all the reviews i did what i could in the Amsterdam thread
You can’t blame Trump for this. Blame the virtue signallers in Congress. They wrote and passed the legislation. It didn’t emanate from the White House.Quote:

Well done to the voters, who voted him in.
Liberal do gooders like Kamala Harris should be where you aim your blame.
If anyone creates another page please PM me. Also, there are many sub topics still left on this page. Why can we still post pictures of trannies but not allowed to talk about them? This is literally dumb!
I was already in the process of building an encrypted ultra-privacy platform run on the blockchain, these actions by the authorities only further highlights the need for such a thing. It will be decentralized across the internet meaning there are no central servers involved and therefore it's control and information stored does not reside in any jurisdiction anywhere on the planet. The only way to shut it down would be to literally turn off the internet.. well good luck with that.
We can simply build a decentralized application on top of it for advertising TS escort services and building a reviews forum etc. Users information will be kept 100% anonymous and private (except if you disclose on the forum of course.. like escorts advertising their name & phone number). It can be accessed from anywhere in world by anyone.. it can't be blocked!!
The underlying blockchain platform can even have its own fully anonymous cryptocurrency for payment of escort services, or for porn, or for whatever people want to use it for - maybe even for tipping other users for good reviews. It will be secure and 100% untraceable.
These bastards won't stop us. Stay tuned folks!
Seriously, is your Trump-derangement this fucking pronounced? Every senator not named Paul and Wyden (thanks yet again for understanding what liberty is, Rand, and shout out to Ronnie with the lisp), voted on this bill. BOTH parties are to blame for this. I could only imagine the total shitstorm given the lack of bi-partisan legislation that comes out of the dumpster fire that is Congress, if Trump vetoed. He's not dying on this hill dude, sorry.
I don't get the point of voting either way. The OP is a statement of fact and Steven has been forced into this to protect his business. There's no like or dislike about it, sadly it had to be done.
As others have said, through HA, Steven has provided an invaluable (free of charge) resource which has aided many, including myself over the years. All good things must come to an end though and my only hope is that the politicians will see sense in a year or 2 and it can all be restored. Until that day, thanks Steven, rodinuk, flabbybody, the late Prospero and all those who contributed to that section to make it what it was....
That was my point exactly, the fact it WAS beyond his control & as Steven says, thank the administration certain people voted for!
Personally, I marked it "thumbs up" because I agree exactly what Steven as had to do, I presume the numpty marking it down either didn't agree with what he said or didn't understand? to you all also.
My sentiments are with all of you. A group PM for discussions is good. I’ve had the itch recently and now have to dig thru memory of what ads I come across - being sticking to the regulars I know and trust. This will probably boost the popular girl’s business as they are known. Be careful out there and I am up for a group PM for NYC and NJ if any start.
Maybe I’ll go to Evolve tonight or whatever Saturday party is out there. The girls that know and understand how this works are probably equally upset and disappointed.
the Wayback Machine does not seem to have indexed the individual posts.
Please PM with any non-US forums that I can read.
As an occasional lurker, just came onto the forum to take a gander of who might be in town, a sad loss. Guess it's back to going at it blind -_-.
I think this is Big Brother gone too far
