The Britney Markham Foundation !!!

What's the big deal about the banner and the fact that people are photoshopped into it?

It is how lot's of banners are done, now it may not be the most skillful work. But really, people here are making a big deal about it and taking a demographic political correctness census in terms of racial composition.

Tip of the hat to Britney, I will be interested to see what you do with this.

I know Britney wanted to be a cop, at one point. She definitely marches to a different drummer. I think she's pretty cool.

I have meet Britney at the clubs always a cool girl this is a good think and someone ,akeimg a difference everyone should support this. We who are fortunate enough to be able to go out for a few driniks and enjoy ourselves we can give back a few dollars to :deadhorse

Wow now I was shocked!! Good to see that somebody cares about "regular" people too, and I thought that they were so self-centered and superficial. There you can see how much I have been wrong!:)

But some people retain their humanity, their core nature of sympathy and concern for others.

Sadly I have found that empathy is not at core of our nature but a gift that some of us listen to and consider more than others do. It maybe as you suggest our culture but over the course of history the tendency has been that most people can not or choose not to empathize with others not like themselves.

But that bit of difference aside your assessment of compassion and the expression of starting a foundation of humanity on Britney's part I could not agree more with. Too often today people spend their time on their own advancement and while concerned with others do not take action. Whether or not this initiative actually delivers on its intention the mere fact that Britney has taken the time to attempt to create it is an admirable act.

And in that light I repeat that it offensive to make fun of the quality of artwork in the banner or to engage in demographic surveys of the faces used in the banner.

As the cop says to Jack Nicholson at the end of the film, "It's Chinatown". Too many guys are only here for the porn and make no effort to recognise that the women they drool over are sentient beings with hopes and aspirations.

Britney's foundation both looks and sounds like the real thing. Good for her and I wish her every success.

Britney is a great girl and doing good things! She is very sincere... one of my biggest fans in this biz, because she feels more girls my size should be accepted in the Trans porn world! She has always be compassionate about others and issues!

I never speak about this and only a few close to me know, that I was homeless for a while, and I never let on to many people that I was homeless. I worked my ass off and got out of that situation. So it is nice to see Britney giving back to a community that needs it! Any time I see a homeless person in need, and I have the money or food I give it. My husband is even more into it. A few months ago, when it got cold her in Vegas, he went and gave a homeless guy one of our blankets, during Christmas he gave this poor family our mini pink Xmas Tree so they would have something on Xmas. Sometimes small thoughts of kindness go a long way!

I am proud of you Britney!!!

We're an acquisitional culture. We gain status by acquiring things, by gaining stuff. Those values are imprinted on us from childhood. And that breeds, of course, selfishness. But, again, you gain status from this. That's cultural. Other cultures are different.
But, again, Adam Smith pointed out that the very core of who we are is: empathy.
But our whole value system runs contrary to that.
And, too, the nature of being human allows for all sorts of behaviors.
