There are two parts making the vagina. The first step is creating the holes/connecting the nerve endings/pee hole etc and the second part is doing the hood of the vagina.
Some doctors do it in all in one..but many doctors prefer the two step method.

Quiet Reflections i live in north africa in one of the most homophobic places on the planet. as far as i know there are no doctors here who perform gender reassignment surgery (that is what it's called right?). and even if there were, the amount of discrimination a tg person would endure...i wouldnt wish it on anyone.
anyway, the reason i asked this question is because i want to know if there are many women out there who are perfectly content with having a penis, and would choose it over having a vagina. i'm not getting the sense that such women are very common

The fact that so many guys refer to SRS as "chopping off the dick" or some such offensive comment only emphasises the shallowness of their attitudes towards ts women.
And don't moan when a girl has SRS - wish her luck and celebrate the fulfilment of her femininity. They're human beings, in case you'd forgotten.

eh? when did i say anything about chopping dicks off? and regarding shallow attitudes, i must admit that my interest in ts girls is just sexual, just as my interest in all women. i'm not sure why that is a bad thing, as long as one is honest about his intentions with his sexual partners. and just because my interest in someone is purely physical does not mean that i treat them with disrespect or like they are 'less than human' like you are suggesting.

I wasn't popping at you at all. It's just that in general the vocabulary guys on here use when discussing SRS is frankly pretty damn offensive and it pisses me off. End of mini-rant lol.
