I personally don't know why any of the girls want the award so bad - they announce who wins at the very end - some girls weren't able to walk the red carpet - they treat you second class...

I can understand Xbiz - Xbiz treats all nominees/performers equally...you can walk the red carpet...you go on the stage to accept your award..they don't do it at the end either.

Girls supporting AVN support how they treat you in my opinion..

How anyone other than Yasmine Lee wins this every year is beyond me.

Definitely thought Yasmin would take it.

I know nothing about how the AVN deal works or the politics behind it...nor do I particularly care. I suppose I understand the purpose behind this sort of thing, but I don't need a bunch of industry insiders telling me who was Best this or best that. Never watched a Grammy or Academy award show in my life. The fact that Mandy didn't win, or wasn't nominated isn't going to stop me from buying her shit. I buy it because it's smokin' hot and because it moves me.
I guess it would be nice to be recognized, but what's the point if the people handing out the recognition appear to hold you in contempt? And in the end...isn't the best and most satisfying recognition... success ( $$$) ?

I've seen a direct correlation between the winners and search engine traffic on those models names, so yes. Also it's the overall branding of your name and associated media which helps you get better search engine rankings, wikipedia entries, etc.
