I wouldn't go that far. He still bankrolled many cells personally and was a key early facilitator. It's a win but the war is far from over.

Seems to me that bin Laden's death only means that now we no longer know who al Queda is taking orders from, if he was ever their recognized "leader", which is in serious doubt. Don't see how this makes us any safer, but if anyone else sees it differently then I hope you sleep soundly tonight.
