Well even though your name is Lucy it’s obvious that you’re not a TS, you’re a straight cross dresser that has the mindset of a male. Any TS would understand how and why this tranny did what she did. All transsexuals have faced some kind of discrimination for being who they are in one form or another. Although I have never been called out like this I have been discriminated in other situations, all transsexuals have. I recently had a situation at the hospital, once I let it be know that I am a transsexual the whole tone changed. Think of a black person in the 40’s then times that by ten, people think we are creatures, things and its. We have no feelings and these people think it’s ok to publicly pick fun at this girl on the train. Thats why we try and pass, to avoid this, but some people cant pass. I give the tranny 2 thumbs up and if I was there I would have held her purse while she sprayed the son of bitches.

For the most part, OC (pepper) spray..unless bought in mist form, doesn't affect anyone other than the person it touches...it is not a gas.

I watched this video twice before commenting. A few observations:

1- None of us know what transpired before the video started, so we can't say with certainty who started it.

2- For the sake of argument, let's say the kids started it. The kids, especially the skinny one, and the mothers are out of line. The mom should have kept her kids in check. However, we all know that some parents, like their children, do not know how to behave in public.

3- Words are exchanged, we all see that. What I do notice is the trans person is the one who, three times, approaches mother and kids. Not once did the kids or mother approach the t-person. The fat boy, twice got up and walked away from the approaching t-person.

4- I heard no threats from mother or kids toward the t-person.

5- What reason did the t-person have for macing the kid? Imagine if everyone who felt insulted decided to take out mace, or worse, and exact "justice" on the offending party.

6- If the t-person had maced two people standing over her and verbally menacing her, I would say "Good, you were acting in self-defense against a real and potential threat."

7- I noticed the subway car was virtually empty. The t-person could have told mom and kids to fuck off and thenmoved to the other end of the car. The wisest people know when to walk away from a verbal confrontation.

8- The t-person decided to mace the kid just as she was exiting the subway car. To anyone who approves of her action, please tell me how she would explain to a police officer, or a court of law, why she felt she needed to mace a child who posed no threat to her.

9- IMO: Any person (Man, woman, tg) who maces someone, as a result of a verbal insult, should be charged with assault.

Very good points AD. It was funny watching her curse out the ignorant morons and see her stand up for herself. But her actions (and how she handled the situation) by macing the kid, simply put her as a transgender in a bad light. Someone said something about being dressed appropriately (to blend in as a normal woman..Isn't that what most TS wanted in the first place?)..being dressed like that out in public and taking public transportation is only 'asking' for it (like someone had said). The tranny should have at least cared enough not to cause any 'commotion' inside the train by putting a jacket to cover up a bit or invest in a car IF she hates hearing people whisper or outright make rude comments about her apperance.

Passing aka registering as a woman while out in public makes most transgender girls lives a lil easier. And passing does need a lot of hard work not just throwing around a gold strapless dress, a blonde weave and getting silicone breast. Just my 2 cents.. ;)

Yeah..you might be right Hara...but maybe it was late at night and she's dressed like that cause she's a streetwalker (that would explain the OC spray and the revealing outfit)...and maybe cause she doesn't look all that passable she doesn't rake in the big bucks so she can't always afford the cab ride instead of the subway...and maybe while she's streetwalking she puts up with a lot of shit from the asshole kids in cars on their way to the clubs at night...and maybe her feet hurt ..and maybe she just got tired and it all came together and she was going home and what this trashy family said to her (combined with all the smirks and laughter)were just too much on that night..so she acted out..and it might have been wrong ...but she just had enough, so she acted out. No one died. Kid will think twice before opening his stupid-ass mouth next time (because his stupid-ass mother can't be bothered being a real mother because she's just a stupid-ass)...and maybe the lady got herself a small sense of satisfaction after a brutal night of many brutal nights.

..I realize that my story uses a lot of "maybes"..but that's what I like to think went down....so I just chuckled and don't feel bad at all for the family.

MAYBE you're right! BUT whatever maybe's that might be..a wrong is still a WRONG. Even if someone in her family died (or she had a rough night out on the street), she shouldn't take out her frustrations at ANYONE? ;)

True, kids rarely hold back their feelings when they see someone they feel is different.

But allowing kids to do stuff like this, or worse- encouraging it, is what establishes the mindsets that cause discrimination in the first place.

How people reproduce & raise kids is how society is duplicated. If that means encouraging kids to target people who they identify as different or odd, then that is going to have a snowballing effect throughout the rest of society; eventually causing violence, job discrimination, failure to protect the civil liberties of others, etc.
