Just read a great novel by the author of "Mystic River" and "Gon Baby Gone" called "The Given Day" about the Blacks and the Irish in Boston at the start of the 20th century - the Unions (and those who wanted to be in the Unions being called out as anarchists) and the riots there.
A good and easy read.
