Is dating a tranny a way of staying in the closet?

Its a strange concept, I like pre op tgirls and real girls, i dont like men or post ops.

For example i adored daniel foxxx, but now she has had the chop i dont find her attractive anymore ... how strange ><

I can't be assed to understand it, so i just go with it, i dont think you can be so narrow minded to group ppl into categories i.e tgirl lover = closet gayboy.

The issue is what is gay, and why is everyone so interested in defining it, especially as opposed to 'straight', which is equally poorly defined.

We can all find exceptions to every rule we could come up with, see above post about gg/pre-op vs men/post op and TS in cloths vs out.

For whatever reason there is a fear of being labeled 'gay' in this society. It's a log stronger among men than women, but present in both sexes. For a number of folks it out weighs even the value of human life. That is the issue that needs resolved... not whether someone should be categorized as part of the hated minority or not.

A bit like the Christian right claiming to be a persecuted minority, trying to paint others as gay or straight makes no sense, and we need to move on.

I think the answer to the original question depends on HOW you are dating the transexual. If you are dating her openly, introducing her to friends and family, then you are NOT "in the closet". But if she is a secret lover, or if you only "date" escorts on the down-low, then you are presumably "in the closet".

As to whether an interest in TGirls makes you gay or not, the answer is probably "yes" by society's definition -- but who cares ? (Also I don't think that being gay is bad; just my opinion.) Far more important is how open versus secretive you are.

I'm not moralizing on this (that might look hypocritical as an anonymous poster) -- I'm just pointing out where I think is the real moral issue.

I think this (above) is a great post.

But NYBURBS asked the question about liking post ops vs gg's. For me about the story of a person, who overcame tremendous odds to be who they wanted to be. A person who made a great physical sacrifice. I think that some men feel more like the mythical "Prince Charming" when they love someone who has a flaw, even if they overcame it. It just something about a person who is willing fight the rules of society (male-female) and even the laws of nature, to some extent that makes their feminine nature more special to me.

One more thing about gg's. There is alway a chance that a gg will decide that she wants to have children, even if she says that she does not want them at first. So that is one factor that men into post ops do not have to worry about.

But I do also agree that it is a shame that so many people here have to abel and criticize others.

Since this is a rhetorical question, no answer for you. Why bother at all? From your writings I take it you won't be able to date a tranny or GG any time soon so carry on.
