I could not have begun to express this as well as you did. I have seen a little bit of Jamie's work and as they say "the girl has skills" with camera and editing.
Broad brush strokes never work when discussing a group of people. Too many people in the job market still can't get their head around transgender even if they can deal with openly gay/lesbian folks.
Too many judgments are made without empathy IMHO. Other wise many people who get freaked out about gender identity wouldn't.

We chose to do porn and everything that goes with it because we are our own bosses, make our own time, the freedom to be creative and productive. Yes, sometimes money is hard to come by but we try to manage to survive and what not. Just because we are "pornstars" does not mean we have high tastes and expensive luxuries. I tend to write in shorthand because iassume certain things are understood...as Eva said, her and Jaime have skills and indeed they do...however, as she also said, because they do porn it means they can't work in the so-called straight world.

Because of porn yes. But also because we are transgender, that's a major roadblock for us, and you have to take into account that neither of us ( as with most serious tgirls in the industry ) haven't held a "9-5" in a while for the most part. A big thing too is the fact that we do what we do ( Porns ), because it is what we love to do. Not because we have to, because that's clearly not the case. If we held medial jobs to just get by, we wouldn't really have any time or energy to sustain our potentially successful porn career and cam and escort properly.

Exactly...which goes back to my point that marrying a ts pornstar, or a straight one for that matter, means you had better be ready willing and able to support her.

that still doesn't mean anything...as aJamie and I are both transgirls, both in the porn industry, and both want improvements for ourselves....
But guess what...we work our asses off ourselves to get where we want. Note that Jamie and I are not rich, barely middle class. Other girls who are "looking" for a male BF and/or Husband do sometimes want someone who is financially stable, some don't. You can't just assume and generalized every girl into everything you think you may know.
I am not going to marry Jamie because she is going to support me financially; I am going to marry her ( and her me ) because we are very much in love with each other and we work absolutely well together. Money has nothing to do with it.
