Not sure there’s anything quite like the Abbey anywhere else in the world, but definitely not in SF.

Twin Peaks near Mission and Castro is kind of a gay institution like the Abbey.

Thanks was more referring to more of a mix of trans and not all guys. I haven't been to SF in a while. I went to AsiaSF. Lots of trans women but the place is not set up for socializing.

Twin Peaks Tavern, aka “the glass coffin” and the Abbey are definitely both institutions, but for very different reasons.
