However, one thing that is very noticeable within the sub niche of transexual community. One thing that i have noticed here is something interesting.
You have full on pre op ts's. Ussually the ones who transition early and generally speaking look 'hot' are the ones who are generally attracted to men. Ussually stereotypical masculine/muscular good looking type men. Almost as a compliment, feminine and masculine going together. The big muscular and rugged male, with the sexy and pretty female (in this case ts).
Then as you move on through the spectrum, you get those ts who seem to be more attracted to women instead of men. Now, normally they tend to be not quite as attractive, although one can not generalise, but from what i have seen, the hot transexual girls will be chasing the buff good looking guys. Then there are the sort of 'partly transitioned' ts who are still into having sex with women and other ts/tv.
Then you move along the spectrum and you get the tv and crossdressers that call themselves 'she' etc and they are basically just straight/bi men who like to dress up in womens clothes and have sex with each other or women. Purely a fetish, nothing to do with actual gender identity at all.
So the whole t-scene throws up a lot more diversity with sexual identities than the straight scene.
In the 'non-t-scene', you basically have 90% of men who are straight and 10% who are gay. I presume that this figure is pretty simmilar for women as well. So only 10% of men and women would sleep with same sex partners.
However on the t-scene, the figure seems to be a lot higher than 10%.
So it varies massively from any of the other scene's.
In my opinion, some of the time, and the opinion of quite a few ts and gay men that i have spoken to about this. Sometimes there are men, effeminate men (can be gay or straight) but often transition or at least start dressing in order to become more popular with people they are sexually attracted to.
For instance, a little fat feminine looking boy (who is straight) is not going to have much luck with the hot girls is he?
So much easier for him to transition or start 'dressing' and then put himself on a forum as a 'transvestite dominatrix' or 'lesbian transexual' and they will find themselves a little sub niche of people, of which more likely to find a partner. Instead of being the little chubby feminine looking boy that wont be able to get laid.
Or alternatively, the small gay man who starts off doing drag. Realises that he pulls it off really well. Likes his dick and likes fucking other guys/getting fucked, but he fancies the big stereotypical buff sexy men. So as a little skinny/camp gay boy, the big masculine sexy gay men are just not interested in him, they want to fuck each other. So he puts on the drag act and realises that 'straight' men are more interested in him now. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for him. Instead of being the little camp guy who has to watch 'colt' and imagine he is fucking a big muscle daddy in the arse (or has to pay for it via escort services), he can dress in drag, over the years take hormones, even a bit of surgery, grow his hair and then become that label 'pre op transexual' and it opens up a whole new world to him.
