Well it's a Grooby Forum and they have plenty of paid sites with incredibly high quality content that you could avail of if you had any actual desire to appreciate the content

It's just strange how all those topics were acceptable for years, but suddenly they were deleted entirely, apparently due to abuses by three users.
Oh well.

Oh well.
Constant abuses.
I've removed and blocked over the years - and given warnings.
The fact is, when I come onto the forum and see two pages of nothing but image updates, then I'm going to remove them. This isn't want this site is for - it's almost all stolen content, and if you want that, look elsewhere.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
I am sorry the post op thread was deleted. I used it to see who had good surgical results because the surgeons only show you their best results. This is a major decision and I don't want to get a messed up result because there are no re-dos.

TgirlPostop.com has very good photos of all the stars and their surgery, and often mentioned who by.

Still crying. You just can't stay away.
This site is far from our bread and butter, it's barely even crumbs in 2022 the way the internet and adult business has changed - the cost of keeping it running dollar for dollar, means it's a loss. But it has it's uses in other ways - and it's returned what we paid for it 10x over in the noughties.

I'm really sad that this thread is gone.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
You shouldn't have constant abuse.
You could have warned us subscribers and we could have added content.
It's your prerogative, since it's your site, however if it was costing you, you could have asked for a minimum subscription of a dollar a month or something along those lines.
Anyway, sir. Thank you for this forum and the years you have kept it going. I really appreciated.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
This seems like a very blunt instrument approach to the stated problem of a few members consistently posting too many images. The problem with wholesale thread deletion is that you are basically punishing all those who followed the rules along with those who didn't - sending a message that even if people follow the rules their posts may be deleted arbitrarily. The rules that were outlined a couple of years ago were very useful to provide clarity about what was allowed, but now we seem to have less clarity.
I still don't understand why the solution would not be to permanently ban those who persist in ignoring the rules. If they come back under another user name they can be banned if they do the same again. Also, is it possible to just restrict the number of images that members can post?
I understand that sharing of porn was not the intended purpose of this forum, but I doubt that getting rid of the porn will result in more discussion. Like it or not, most of us are here because of sexual interest in trans. Some percentage of the people who come for the porn will also participate in discussions that catch their interest. Without those people you will probably not have a critical mass and end up with the same few posters who like to pontificate.

I am suscriber of TgirlPostop.com. A total of 53 models are listed there, I wouldn´t say that these are all the stars. Keyplayers like Danielle Foxxx or Kimber James are missing - for example. The Post-op-thread on HA was always a nice addition. Sad that it was deleted now.

People don't pay for porn, why would they pay $1 for this site? Why give away GB's of free porn for nothing?
I'm happy with people posting images to illustate a point, or to show something great but when the site becomes nothing more than a recepticle for free porn, and huge threads updating daily of (stolen) content, then that's not what I want it to be.

Those threads support the fact that anyone (it could be 100 members not just a handful) are coming on here, and just posting content in the same mega-threads. I appreciate and understand why people loved those threads, but when it becomes the soul of the site and raison d'ętre for it's existance, then I've got no reason to keep it open and can just shutter it's doors, and redirect everything to grooby.com or groobygirls.com.
As stated, I'm happy with people using content to illustate their posts, or make a point - but this isn't the place to be a free (stolen) porn collection site.

LOL. The gift that keeps on giving. Nothing better to make my morning shine, like seeing another true idiot putting his foot in his mouth and making himself to be the fool he is.
There was a new rules post from last year (or 2020) - it's been sticky at the top of the page for that time, and I just unstickied it in the last few days. COCK WOMBLE
I check this forum daily. Rod knows that, as do the other regular POSTERS - as I delete spam, I delete link and I delete transphobic comments or attacks. If this forum was left to run itself it would be 99% Russian or Indian pharmacy ads, spam from unrelated companies and attacks on your likes. ARSE
How does 'logged in' clear show I've not been on the site in a decade? I get up each day and login. BELLEND

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
Nobody should be surprised by this move. Anyone who felt that this forum was about some kind of brotherhood is deluding themselves. Grooby is first and foremost a businessman. This site maybe free to join - but it serves as a loss leader launchpad for all the products that he publishes on the internet - and the best part is, he barely has to lift a finger because it's the members who post most of the material (albeit taken from his very sites - although interestingly, he also deleted a chaturbate-related thread - suggesting an active rejection of competition).
He has previously made it clear in certain posts that his only concern is money - and this time he he has driven the message home defintively lest there should remain any doubters. The newsflash is that there is no such thing as a free dinner!

A little close - but certainly no cigar.
My only concern certainly is not money. If that was so, I would have ceased production, fired everyone - and milked the sites for all they were worth which would give me a rather handsome personal payout.
I also wouldn't be spending so much money and resources running the Trans Erotica Awards, or the Fallen Angels site, or my voluntary time on the FSC Board, or helping give so many aspiring industry or models advice and trying to platform them. I would certainly have closed some of the sites that just break even (but keep models and staff employed).
You're getting a free dinner here but it's meat and potatoes. If you want something a little elevated, be prepared to spend a wee bit money back into the industry.

I'm still puzzled as to why you suddenly decided to crack down on what you seemed to be condoning previously. This is what you said in your 'Reminder of the rules' post two years ago:
4. You can show up to 12 images from any one scene. No more on subsequent posts. No cum shots. Images may not be cropped and must have original logos. These should be uploaded only to this site.
I've been away from the site for the past few weeks, so I might have missed something that led up to the great thread massacre, but my recollection is that posts in the deleted threads were largely within these rules. If so, the unanswered question is what rules will be applied going forward.
I would have thought that the money in porn these days comes largely from video clips rather than images. A lot of images are put in the public domain by the content creator themselves for promo purposes. My impression is that the great majority of images posted here fall into that category. If there was a serious problem with pirated images it seems puzzling that it wasn't addressed before.
-
Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
Not sure why folks are arguing/discussing this.
It's a one way discussion.
I'll be the first to admit I've posted a TON of pictures here - but I've also added discussion and general information posts as well.
No one is paying a dime here......Grooby sets the rules, one is free to stay or go.

They don't realize it's 2022 and free xxx is all over the web.
Rappers who made hundreds of millions off of Albums like Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, etc, this whole new generation all time their albums away for free now the day it drops on YouTube because they know it's all already free on the web and have found other ways to generate income like touring and merch again pod casts etc. It's been about 20 years since I have paid 1 cent on xxx and I have seen every seen I have wanted to see since as mostly everyone else. Address this already. Came on site, two pages of nothing but image threads. Neeeded to go.
Things change.
No images are 'public domain' from porn sites that's a fallacy. Sites do show some images for marketing, but the intention is not for them to be built into large image libraries, which become sites within themselves giving it away for free, and thus negating the marketing purposes.

It's not free all over, for everyone - and we spend a lot of money on anti-piracy which we've had some excellent success with.
Adult sites don't have the ability to 'play live' and make money from touring and over-priced tshirts, and even then a lot of music makes some revenue from the online streaming models (all of which are paid for) and in some ways this has been replicated by premium tube sites (Faphouse etc.) where a user pays a monthly membership which is then shared amongst the creators they listen to (or for adult - view).
You must be very proud of yourself having contributed absolutely nothing to our industry, while happily enjoying the content. Luckily for you, there are plenty of people who understand that in order for companies like ours to continue to produce this amount of new content, we have to pay to models and producers to make that content, and without them buying, it just wouldn't happen. We do change with the times which is why we continue to have a modicum of success and are able to continue to produce, paying hundreds of thousands back into trans women, and production. Changing with the times, also includes deleting all those threads that weren't helping anyone other than people like you.
You're only tolerated here, because you actually contribute to the forum, thus at least bringing some worth to it.

Wow...
It's your website, so your rules, but many of those threads had great photos that are now gone forever and it was great that they were all categorized and could be browsed by subject.
I was always under the impression that this forum was first and foremost a forum for trans people and people into trans women, and the images that were in those threads were a huge part of that. In other words..a porn site.
Some of those images led me to other sites (grooby and non-grooby) where I happily paid membership fees to see more content.
Given the thread deletions, the fact that some of the more recent topics are more of a " woke " nature, I am betting you will be seeing a lot less traffic. The fact (like it or not) is that most of us were coming here for those images and this forum quite possibly had the best source of trans images available anywhere.
Before someone pounces on me for the comment on the " woke " threads, I totally understand all that and respect it, and do support it in real life, but that doesn't mean I want to see it or read about it every time I visit this forum.
I hope you reconsider your decision and have backups to reload those threads from should you change your mind about this.
I'd also happily pay a membership fee if it means bringing all those great threads back...

That's the point though, it's not a pay site or a porn site for images - and charging membership fee to see images we don't own is a problem in it's own right.
Sincerely, when did you last pay for one of our sites?

last grooby subscription I had was earlier this year..without checking to be sure I think it was blacktgirls...I let it slide when some of my credit cards got compromised and for a few other reasons that aren't relevant here.
I am curious now though. You say it's not a porn site for images, yet I've been here since 2004 and it's always been a porn site with/for images...thats what? 18 years of hosting porn images...
Why end it all now? Like I said, your website/your rules and I respect that thinking, but this seems like drastic action...
It'll be interesting to see what becomes of this place. The images are what brought a lot of people here, and like I said before, while I understand/appreciate/support in real life the " woke topics " that are being posted, only a small handful of members are really interested in participating in those kinds of conversations...Just being realistic about that.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
It costs Grooby money to host images on a server. If there's a huge number of images that are not directly related to Grooby, I can understand why they are tired of paying for this, after years and years.
Maybe if you see an image you like, "open in new window" and download it. Host it on your own computer. Don't expect it to be available here forever.
I can understand why older threads would get deleted, if Grooby wants this to be an up-to-date resource, and not a museum of vintage pics.

On your second point, what is the status of this site https://shemalestardb.com/? I've always assumed it was legal, especially as people often post links to it here and no action is taken.

You are missing the point. I'm happy for Grooby to set the rules as long as they are clearly stated and applied consistently. I just don't think we have that in this instance.
As far as I can work out, Steven just decided to set aside his previously-stated rules because he was unhappy with the amount of images being posted, even if they were not actually breaching the rules. The reason I keep pursuing this is that he doesn't seem willing to clarify what the rules are now. If it all depends on the whims of the owner that is the opposite of having rules.
-
Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
The thing is, all those ads you see on the side and top of the page come from how much traffic comes to the site, not how many post counts someone has.
There isn't a thing that Grooby puts out that cant be had for free on the internet. Not a single thing and cutting a thread or two off of this place isn't going to change that. There's all kinds of sites and forums that daily put out new free porn. Not just TS stuff. Any perverted shit you can think of. Google is happy to help you find it because porn is the number one thing that made the internet spread across the world. Let's not pretend that there isn't a bigger agenda going on here. There's a reason why a TS will show up on Pornhub when you're looking up lesbians. They know when you're getting bored of something and want to fuck your life up a little bit more.
It amazes me that a porn producer is cutting out threads in a forum, that wouldn't have a single person here, if it never had free porn to begin with.
Does anyone honestly think that any person that came here in the first place, (other than transsexuals themselves) did so to discuss transsexual issues? Seriously? Especially when you have a gif of a ts getting fucked on the side of the page from GroobyVR, right now?
The whole porn thing is getting boring as fuck anyway.
I barely come by this place anymore but I can see why some people here see the hypocrisy in thread ending crap. I couldn't care less either way. Just felt like adding in a couple cents. Don't care if I'm banned.

There's your error - there is no "we" here.
It is Grooby - we take it or leave it.

You can still post porn images. What we're not going to have is mega-threads where some people just come to post daily, and use it as their porn collection. If something is pertinent and relevant, then go for it.
Your comments on the 'woke' topics are way of. They've always been posted here, just lost amongst the drivel. This forum first and foremost was a place that people came to discuss with likeminded individuals.
If there is a post you don't like the subject of, don't click it.

On your second point, what is the status of this site
https://shemalestardb.com/? I've always assumed it was legal, especially as people often post links to it here and no action is taken.
I might edit the rules but I think I've been clear on what's not going to take place here. You can blame the people who ignored them, or constantly fed their own posts with huge amount of stolen content.
That link is an affiliate site, we don't own it - but we allow the owner to post.

It's not 'whims' it's a considered decision, and the final straw that broke the posters back was when I saw one morning the state of the front page of the site.

Thanks for your 4th post in 9 years.
This site is a site for those who enjoy trans porn and discussion of that, some of it includes the sharing of images to demonstrate or illustrate. It was that long before you came onboard, it was that for years after you came - and there were some mega-threads that kept running. They'd sink down the threads, get an update and rise to the top every so often - but then some started using it as their porn sharing site, creating a thread for every micro niche within trans porn, updating each of the threads daily or multiple times a day and that drowned out the more interesting topics. 'Transsexual issues' takes up a tiny amount of the forum, most it's chat about models, types of porn, etc. Nobody has pretended that's anything different - and that's not going to change.
Speaking of hypocrisym, your two cents are pretty worthless for someone who has contributed so little but I decided to answer anyway as was able to use you crying, to answer some points overall.
No need for a ban - just go.
