Was I asking too much?

I was always taught to say thank you. I guess this "star" wasn't brought up the same way.

I have done this a few times and one Lady is very grateful and sends thank you notes and even pics wearing the gifts, the other lady I purchased grifts for twice did not even send a thank you note, so I probably won't buy for her anymore and continue to spoil the other girl..

Not sending a simple "thank you" for a gift is just plain rude.

How long ago did you send the gift?

Any guarantee that the card actually went along with it?

Is this just a fan thing? I mean sending gifts to a complete stranger you've never met and just have seen thru a screen and are fantasizing about just doesnt appeal to me. whats the reason and incentive for these gifts? what do people expect in return?
