These are exactly the type of reject public defense attorney that the court appoints to you when you can't afford a lawyer. in the USA that is.

Seanchai, for further reading you may want to check out A Criminal Waste of Space. It is a blog by The Hon. W.W. Bedsworth, a California justice, wherein he writes about court proceedings of his own and others. Funny stuff.
